Kim Kardashian recently revealed that she has an inner Barbie Doll soul. And when a photo shoot called for it, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim channeled that Barbie spirit to pose like a doll, revealed Cosmopolitan.
The revelation came when Kardashian shared throwback pics from a previous shoot she did for Kurv magazine. In the shoot, while not up to the break-the-Internet standards of her infamous Paper magazine poses, Kim became a Barbie-doll replica.
“One of the hardest shoots I’ve ever done,” declared Kardashian.
While Kim contends that being a doll is much more difficult than posing with a glass on your derrière, Kardashian also recently revealed that she’s returning to her regular form of “reality” following the birth of her second child and first son, Saint West, reported Life & Style.
And because in the world of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, appearance counts, Kim signified that return to reality land with farewell to easy-to-care-for braids, hello to those glamour girl hairstyles. Kardashian has been relaxing at home for most of the time since welcoming her baby, so that may mean it’s time to release her usual get up and go spirit.
“I have just been chilling at home with the baby and being cozy in robes,” Kim confessed after the baby’s arrival.
But now that Kardashian is ready to return to reality, part of her plan involves husband Kanye West. Kim, along with her sisters, such as Khloe Kardashian, have been helping Kanye finish his new album, Swish, reported Digital Spy.
West previously revealed that Swish will drop on February 11. Previews have included “No More Parties In LA” and “Real Friends.” The hint that the album would release have been drawn out for months, with singles such as “All Day.” Kanye even publicly requested on Twitter that no one ask him for favors until after he finished Swish.
But the KUWTK clan, led by West’s wife, Kim, decided to give him a helping hand, according to what Khloe told Cosmo.
“He really cares about our opinions, which I find even cooler. Because we’re not artists, obviously, but he respects what we say so much. He is so passionate. He’s like, every bit the meaning of an artist. He’s so into his craft, and just to see him at work and see how much he respects our opinions, all of us sisters, he wants us all in the studio at different times. Thank god we all live a block away from each other.”
In addition, the 31-year-old star of KUWTK shared that she hopes Kanye and Kim will appear on her new show together.
“I want him and Kim to come on together, and that’s all depending on how Kim is feeling. It’d be closer to the end of the show, if so. She just had a baby,” pointed out Khloe, who is set to star in the talk show Kocktails With Khloe.
As for how North West, the first baby of Kim and Kanye, is doing since the birth of her baby brother, Radar Online cites a family insider who says North is acting up so much that they’re considering getting her a therapist.
Although Kardashian, 35, and West, 38, tried to explain to 2-year-old North that she was getting a little brother, the firstborn of the famous couple is not thrilled.
“Poor North doesn’t like that she’s been replaced on mom’s lap by Saint, and she’s having a hard time adjusting,” said the family insider. “North is starting to rebel against this massive push from everyone to ‘be a good sister’ to Saint.”
Although finding that she has to share the attention is a common situation for first-born children when a new baby arrives in the house, North seems to be finding it extra challenging to handle, according to that insider. In addition to acting “super moody,” the little girl has problems sleeping. And that’s a problem for both Kim and Kanye.
With all those sleeping problems, a therapist is the next step in Kim’s mind.
“It’s causing a lot of disruptions so Kim’s talking about hiring a behavioral therapist to help her adapt,” the insider revealed to Radar.
