Harry Styles: Thrilled About ‘Next Chapter’ But Relationship With Kendall Jenner Causing Trouble?
Harry Styles is dead set on starting his solo career. The One Direction member is reportedly taking singing lessons, according to multiple outlets.
The 21-year-old British crooner has reportedly teamed up with a vocal coach to improve his singing skills as he embarks on his solo career, an inside source told the Daily Star.
“People may find it funny that Harry needs singing lessons ahead of a solo career, but it’s pretty standard practice. He’s performed well live and can obviously sing but he’s smart enough to realize he needs to learn more about how best to develop his vocal skills. He’s grounded and professional enough to know he needs to work hard to achieve the success he wants as a solo artist.”
Apparently, Styles, 21, is hiring Hollywood coach Ron Anderson, who already has an impressive resume. He’s worked with popular singers like Adele, Alicia Keys, Kylie Minogue, and Leona Lewis.
“Harry’s super excited about the next chapter in his life. Ron’s the best of the best and Harry’s planning to make enough time in his schedule for regular coaching. It may mean sometimes he’ll see him in Los Angeles or sometimes Ron will have to fly to London but it’s a priority for him now that One Direction are taking a break.”
Styles has been rumored to have already recorded 20 tracks already and has registered four new songs with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. The songs indicate that Styles is ready to become his own person, especially since he’s teamed up with Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny McDaid and music producer Gary Go.
Harry is also making his foray into acting with the help of Harvey Weinstein. Unfortunately for him, he was offered a big movie role which he turned down due to touring with One Direction.
The singer has also been making headlines for his relationship with Kendall Jenner. The young stars were seen having fun on a private luxury yacht during the New Year’s celebrations. Since then, the famous exes haven’t been spotted together. There also has been conflicting information on whether or not Styles and Jenner are dating. Even the model’s older sister, Khloe Kardashian, is not sure what to label them, but she agrees that they make a “super-hot” couple.
An inside source told the Hollywood Life that the couple plans to stay in touch even when they’re across the globe from each other.
“Harry and Kendall are determined to make their relationship a priority now that they are apart. They promised each other that they wouldn’t let the long distance ruin what they have. So they have scheduled Skype sessions that typically last two hours long. And they text throughout the day when they can.”
But it looks like the people in their lives aren’t fan of their relationship. More like Jenner’s inner circle aren’t cool with it. Jenner’s friends are rumored to be wary of her reunion with Styles. The news is especially unsettling to Taylor Swift and Cara Delevingne, both of which dated Styles. Another insider told Grazia U.K. that Swift feels “burned” by her friend, while Delevingne think it’s a bad idea for Jenner to date the musician again.
Kendall’s BFF Gigi Hadid is unsure how to take the news. The blonde beauty is reportedly dating former One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik, who’s not on good terms with Harry Styles. So that makes things super awkward for the supermodel friends. Various sources claim that the former besties have had out a fallen out because of their pop star boyfriends. Gigi is “furious” to hear that Kendall is dating Harry again because she thinks that her friend is becoming a hypocrite.
Apparently no one in her inner circle (aside from her family) thinks that Harry Styles is good enough for her. They all believe that he’ll try to charm her and then leave.
