‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Hints At T.R. Dues Split On Twitter

Have Leah Messer and Theodore “T.R.” Dues parted ways after months of dating in secret? According to a couple of new tweets, shared by the Teen Mom 2 star over the weekend, it appears to be a possibility.

“Some people seriously get so butt hurt, like please stop thinking [you’re] so cool doing dumb s**t. #sorrynotsorry,” Leah Messer wrote in a tweet to fans on January 9.

Leah Messer began dating Dues in the spring of last year, but continued to deny the romance up until a couple of months ago. Even after Leah Messer’s ex-husband, Corey Simms, revealed their daughter had informed him of her and Dues’ living situation (they reportedly moved in together around the time their relationship began) prior to the Teen Mom 2 Season 6 Reunion. However, nowadays, their relationship is less clear — especially after Leah Messer shared the following retweet.

Before she began dating Dues, Leah Messer was married to Jeremy Calvert, the father of her 2-year-old daughter, Adalynn. After tying the knot in April, 2012, just one year after Leah Messer divorced first husband Corey Simms, Messer and Calvert welcomed their first child, but from there, their relationship appeared to take a turn for the worse due to Calvert’s busy career.

As fans saw during Teen Mom 2 Season 5, Leah Messer and Calvert were often seen at odds due to the amount of time Calvert was kept away from their family. Although Calvert felt it was important that he financially support Leah Messer and her three children, including her twins from her marriage to Simms, Ali and Aleeah, 6, Leah Messer wanted her husband around more, and after they began feuding, she suggested they seek counseling. Still, they were unable to salvage their relationship, and in late 2014, their marriage came to a dramatic end.

In November of that year, Calvert took to Twitter, where he accused his wife of cheating on him with Robbie Kidd, the man she cheated on first husband Simms with, and told fans he was filing for divorce. While the former couple attempted to reconcile for a few months after Calvert’s since-deleted Twitter accusations, their divorce was ultimately finalized in June, 2015.

During Teen Mom 2 Season 6, fans watched as Calvert weighed in on the end of his marriage to Leah Messer.

“I’m a single motherf***er now… I’m not married. That’s a f***ing plus. It’s over, the papers are signed… it’s been f***ing hell. No more, f**k that. It’s peaceful, my house is f***king home,” Calvert told a friend, according to a report by the Stir.

“I’ve been talking to another girl… she’s got her head on her shoulders. She has a job. She takes care of her kids on her own,” he continued.

Then, speaking of his daughter with Leah Messer, Calvert explained, “I do not regret my daughter by no means but I damn sure regret who I had a child with.”

While Leah Messer has never publicly confirmed she was dating Dues, despite her daughter’s confirmation, and matching Facebook photos, which were pointed out by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, their relationship will likely be featured during Season 7 (Dues was not seen or mentioned at all during Teen Mom 2 Season 6).
