Kylie Jenner Lip Kit Fiasco, Delays Leave Fans Furious, Chaos Erupts On Twitter

Kylie Jenner has been a media magnet for quite some due to the ups and downs she’s faced with her on-again, off again boyfriend Tyga, but this time, she’s facing issues for a totally different reason. Apparently, Kylie’s cosmetic line, #LipKitByKylie, has Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans in an uproar. According to In Touch Weekly, Kylie Jenner is facing massive delays, and the notice on her cosmetic website has even revealed that some orders placed back in November still have yet to be shipped out.

For those who missed it, #LipKitByKylie hit the market on November 30, just in time for the Christmas holiday season, and fans immediately began gravitating to the attractive cosmetic line. However, the shopping experience was short-lived because Kylie Jenner’s cosmetics sold out in a matter of minutes. The sales spike was so overwhelming Kylie took to Instagram with a statement thanking fans for their support.

“Wow. Been dreaming of this day for 2 years now. This was a long process but an amazing one! Visiting the factories and sitting with the amazing chemists creating the perfect colors and formulas for you guys! This is all me and I put my everything into these lip kits. I hope you guys love them as much as I do. Definitely more to come. I only hope for it to get better. Enjoy.”

However, that’s not all. The delays were based on orders received and orders shipped. Most customers assumed the problem would be resolved in time for Christmas, but apparently, that isn’t the case. Now, Kylie Jenner is doing damage control to accommodate fans.

According to the #LipKitByKylie website, orders received take approximately 36-48 hours to process and 3-6 business days for shipping and delivery to addresses in the United States. International orders could take up to 15 days for customers to receive.

However, In Touch Weekly reports that the estimated delivery times on the site are inaccurate and customers are still waiting for orders that were placed back in December. Although Kylie Jenner’s site was restocked on Dec. 14, according to Hollywood Life, the volume of the orders has been much more than Kylie’s distribution company can manage. It has been reported that C&S Sales has been hit with a massive influx of orders, and they have been unable to get the sales volume under control.

Now, fans are reportedly furious about the product. Although many have anticipated receiving their packages, many customers are demanding refunds. According to TMZ, many frustrated customers have accused Kylie Jenner’s company of blowing them off and ignoring their complaints. Some have even gone a step further by filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau. As expected, Twitter has also been flooded with complaints.

Here are some of the tweets:

Since November 30 was Kylie Jenner’s first launch date, delays may have been expected by the distribution company, but of course, fans were not expecting the issues. Even now, there are still customers who have not received orders that were placed back in December. Hopefully, the issue is resolved soon before Kylie loses customers.
