Leonardo DiCaprio Talks Marriage As Ex Kelly Rohrbach Enjoys Single Life
Leonardo DiCaprio is single, just in time for awards season. The Revenant star ended his relationship with Kelly Rohrbach just months prior to the Golden Globes.
Leonardo DiCaprio and his model girlfriend, Kelly Rohrbach, have been broken up for months, an insider told People.
“They have been broken up for a few months now. They are very friendly and it’s super amicable.”
The reason behind the couple’s split was because of their hectic work schedules due to their respective careers, added the source.
“They are both so busy and he’s got a big movie coming out and she’s one of the biggest supermodels in the world. There is no other person in the picture.”
While Leonardo DiCaprio is single and on the prowl, he says that he hasn’t ruled out marriage. He recently revealed to Parade magazine’s January issue “that time will come” when he’s ready.
“That time will come when that time comes. The truth is, you can’t predict marriage. You can’t plan it. It’s just going to happen when it happens.”
The 41-year-old actor already has a long list of ex-girlfriends that would put Taylor Swift ‘s long list of ex-lovers to shame. The list includes Kelly Rohrbach, Bar Refaeli, Blake Lively, Gisele Bundchen, Erin Heatherton, and Toni Garrn.
Leonardo DiCaprio is at Sunday night’s Golden Globes, but a few nights ago he was spotted at a dinner in LA hosted by Shutter Island producer Mike Medavoy in honor of his new film. The event also included appearances by Barbara Streisand, Warren Beatty, and Sean Penn.
The night before, insiders saw Leo partying at Marquee in New York with his Wolf of Wall Street co-star Jonah Hill. The duo hung out in the VIP area and ordered bottle service, but Leo tried hard to stay away from his usual group of women.
“She enjoyed the party with a bunch of model pals. She seemed to be in a good mood and was hanging out with friends.”
Looks like she’s following in Leo’s footsteps by surrounding herself with beautiful women. He’s been dealing with their recent split by hanging out with his friends and bikini babes, according to a previous Page Six report.
He was seen partying in St. Barts surrounded by beautiful women wearing bikinis, but the actor wasn’t too interested in what was happening around.
“While there was no particular girl Leo seemed keen on, the girls were trying their best – decked out in bikinis and all trying to act like the life of the party, dancing on tables and toasting with rose. One girl wore a barely there star-spangled bikini in the pattern of the American flag.”
There was one thing that DiCaprio had his eye on. “Leo was smiling at a vintage photo of himself at [Nikki Beach] that was taken at its opening, in 2001,” said an insider.
“I’m happy to bring my dad. I don’t think he ever gets to go to stuff like this, so it’s gonna be a fun night for us.”
Meanwhile, DiCaprio has been receiving a lot of buzz for his acting on The Revenant, for which he received a Best Act nomination for at the Golden Globes. There’s also a lot of Oscar buzz surrounding the actor, as he hopes to score his first Academy Award this awards season.
