Kim Kardashian Prepares Herself For A Wardrobe Overhaul, And North West Is Part Of It

Kim Kardashian is preparing for some major changes to her wardrobe.

Kim has hardly ever been secretive about her love for furs, and anyone who tries to keep up with the Kardashians would know that it pretty much runs in the family. Although Khloe has campaigned for anti-fur organizations in the past, going on record to say that “she’d rather be naked than wear fur,” Kim Kardashian has made sure not to follow in her sister’s footsteps.

In fact, when Kim repeatedly invited the wrath of animal-rights groups for dressing in real fur a few years ago, she defended her choice of wardrobe — at the expense of coming across as quite insensitive — saying that nobody had the right to dictate what she wore because it was “her choice”.

“I believe everyone has the choice of what they want […] It’s not illegal to buy fur. I believe it is a matter of personal choice,” Kim had said about wearing furs.

Unsurprisingly, Kim continued to dress in furs, and her fans would often spot her donning all kinds of furs at all kinds of events.

You get the point. Kim Kardashian’s love affair with fur is as old as our memories of her, but now her fans would be surprised to know that Kim has decided to let go of fur.

Well, not all of it, because that would be too unlike Kim. According to Mirror, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have vowed to only wear fur made from roadkill, meaning that the celebrity couple are going to only wear ethically sourced fur. So now Kim Kardashian won’t be leaving behind a trail of blood!

The report further states that Kimye have decided to only get their fur from animals who die on the country’s highways, which would come as great news to animal-welfare organizations like PETA, which has rarely shied away from bashing Kim for her indulgent wardrobe choices in the past.

In fact, when PETA officials saw Kim Kardashian dress even little North West in fur some time ago, they knew they had had enough of it. In fact, for history buffs, it might be worth noting that the North West Company was a fur trading business headquartered in Montreal from 1779 to 1821. Maybe that’s where North’s name came from. Is that so, Kim?

In any case, Kim Kardashian’s decision to dress North in expensive fur has not gone well down with animal-rights groups in the past, as is evident from the following statement made by a PETA director.

“Kids are naturally drawn to animals and sympathetic to their plight, and there’s no reason to think that North is any different.

“If the fur coat that she’s been dressed in is real, animals have suffered for vanity, something that we’re sure neither North nor any little girl her age would support.”

But now all that seems to be in the past, with a source close to Kim Kardashian claiming that she does not want to upset any more animal lovers with her wardrobe choices.

“Kim doesn’t want to upset anti-fur fans, especially by the way she dresses North, so everything is going to be replaced with a new roadkill wardrobe.”

North West, of course, is going to follow in her mother’s footsteps and give up fur too, the source confirmed.

Late as it might be, Kim Kardashian’s decision to give up unethically-sourced furs might strike a chord with most animal lovers. For all we know, Kim might just have made some fans over at PETA.
