Katie Holmes Engaged? Sparks Foxx Engagement Talk With Ring

Katie Holmes has been doing a pretty good job of keeping her blossoming romance with actor Jamie Foxx under wraps. The two have been very secretive about their relationship until this point, and they have yet to confirm to their relationship status.

However, the bond may be stronger and more serious than onlookers originally thought. This observation comes after Katie Holmes was seen last month strutting around with a diamond on her ring finger, and once again this past week. Not only that, but most recently, sources have spoken with In Touch and relayed that Holmes is hoping to get hitched to the Django Unchained star in a short while.

Wonderwall relays the recent bits of information that have been spilled in regards to the Holmes-Foxx romance.

“The ‘Batman Begins’ actress sent the rumor mill spinning when she was photographed wearing a diamond ring on the ring finger of her left hand while grabbing coffee on Jan. 5. Back on the Dec. 4, 2015, the brunette showed off her bling ring when she attended ‘Art of the Party with Katie Holmes’ hosted by Ocean Drive Magazine in Miami Beach, Fla.”

Katie, now 37, and Jamie, 48, have reportedly secretly been dating for a full 2 years now. Sources say that Holmes is ready to take the plunge with the actor, and the ring may be a sign that Foxx feels the same way on the matter.

A source shared with OK! that Jamie and Katie are gearing up to finally go public with their relationship, and, although the reports remain to be verified, the two are already discussing wedding plans.

“They’re ready to debut not just as a couple, but as a newly engaged couple.They’ve discussed eloping or having a small, quiet wedding in an out-of-the-way place.”

It’s likely that a ceremony between Jamie and Katie will likely be a much more low key event than that which saw Katie and Tom Cruise married and had a $2 million price tag including a performance by opera sensation Andrea Bocelli.

Until this point, Katie and Jamie have gone to certain lengths to keep their relationship undercover — quite literally. Us Weekly noted back in September, 2015, that Katie would cover up in a hat and wig to throw onlookers off her trail whenever she was off to see Foxx. As for Katie’s little one, Suri, she is just as smitten with Jamie as Katie seems to be.

Wonderwall notes additional words of a source close to Holmes, in regards to Suri’s affection for Jamie.

“Katie is in love with him and Suri gets along great with him too.”

Additionally, the insider claims that the couple “have gotten closer” in recent months and that wedding bells are a very real possibility in the near future for Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx. It’s lovely that Holmes is able to find a loving relationship after the distress caused by her divorce from Scientology member, Tom Cruise. It is clear that the privacy both Holmes and Foxx have maintained in regards to their romance is likely due to keeping Suri protected from paparazzi and the couple out of the media spotlight.

As OK! reminds, “[r]umors about Katie, 37, and fellow actor, Jamie, began in 2013, after they were seen dancing together at an event in East Hampton, NY.” As previously mentioned, the two are reportedly in talks in regards to what they envision for their wedding ceremony. The words “small” and “low-key” have been popular between the couple, on the subject, as sources relay.

Whether the couple decides to remain secretive or to announce their relationship and engagement openly, they are wished the best of luck.
