WWE News: Finn Balor Comments On Bullet Club Coming To WWE

Instead of this story being an internet rumor that may or may not come true, New Japan Pro Wrestling stars Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson, Shinsuke Nakamura, and AJ Styles are nearly-confirmed for the WWE. MLW Radio broke the news earlier this week, and like most rumors, WWE fans thought it would dissipate and the next story would come out to take its place. Then, other outlets began to report it as well.

Before anyone realized, it was a viral story that was only getting bigger. The WWE Universe was on the verge of getting to see four of the best wrestlers on the planet in their favorite promotion. As soon as WWE.com reported on the news, that was the final straw. Now, WWE fans are guaranteed their arrival within the next few months.

It’s already been reported that AJ Styles could surprise everyone and show up at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Nothing’s confirmed, but that’s the feeling right now. Nakamura, Gallows, and Anderson are still to be determined. One man that’s added more fuel to the fire than anyone is Finn Balor. Nakamura, Gallows, and Anderson were his co-workers at New Japan Pro Wrestling prior to Balor’s arrival in the WWE.

WWE.com decided to tackle this story head-on, with Triple H’s approval. They interviewed Balor on what he thought about the Bullet Club’s rumored excursion to the WWE.

“I think I was more excited than anyone to read the news about what’s been going on. I have had the guys at Bullet Club, especially Karl Anderson, who’s my best friend outside the ring, give me a couple nuggets of information that leads me to be very confident about the future at NXT and WWE. For me, I think having some friends around would definitely be better for me. But whether I can say for 100% certainty that it’s going to happen.

“A year and a half ago, myself, Kevin Owens and Hideo Itami all came in together. And there was kind of a buzz that helped create a special time in NXT. I think, potentially, what is going to happen over the next couple of months if these four names come in is going to be even bigger. I think the growth of NXT in the last year and a half and the growth Bullet Club has made in the last year and a half since I left means this would be a huge coup for WWE.”

The NXT Heavyweight champion didn’t stop commenting on the Bullet Club in this interview. He’s still trolling the WWE Universe via Twitter and Instagram. This was his latest post on social media about his friends arriving at the WWE Performance Center.

They should have been here by now….

Balor’s absolutely right and he realizes what he and Owens did in the last year. Their arrival gave WWE NXT a backbone to work with. Since they came to the company, Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe, Tyler Breeze, Baron Corbin, Hideo Itami, and others ascended to new heights because of the new talent. Nothing more can be done to praise Balor and Owens’ contributions to WWE NXT.

Look for more stories on WWE.com about the Bullet Club debuting in the WWE. They’ve gone this far to make the speculation grow, so clearly something is about to happen in the next month or two. By WrestleMania 32, all of them should be in the WWE.
