Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Treat Fans To Flirty Fun On Twitter As Miranda Lambert Feels ‘Happy’ In New Romance

Blake Shelton has a history of humor on social media. So when Blake read the tabloid reports alleging everything from elopement to baby plans, Shelton lived up to his reputation by taking to Twitter to mock them. And his new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, joined in to turn it into flirty fun, reported ET.

“My news years resolution for 2016 was to be on the cover of every s****y a** tabloid known to man…. Whew!!! That was easy!!!!!” tweeted Blake.

Shelton earned more than 10,000 “Likes” and 1,000 re-tweets for his wit, and fans of his social media commentary included the woman who started out as his coaching colleague on The Voice and quickly became his canoodling cutie.

Of course, Blake couldn’t resist responding to the compliment with a follow-up tweet.

“And with that it’s already a great 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @gwenstefani,” posted Shelton.

But why stop there when the retweets kept coming?

“@blakeshelton eeeeekkkkkk!!!!!gx #wecoulddothisallday,” she tweeted back.

Fans, who number 17.54 million on their Twitter accounts combined, made it clear that they adored the couple dubbed Shefani.

“FINALLY IVE BEEN WAITING MY WHOLE LIFE FOR THIS,” tweeted one.

“GOD BLESS SHEFANI,” exclaimed another.

“[Y]ou two are so cute its so unfair. #perfectcouple,” gushed a third fan.

After confirmation that they were dating, the 46-year-old pop singer and frontwoman for No Doubt and 39-year-old country crooner have been flaunting their PDA. Their romance started after she divorced Gavin Rossdale and he split from Miranda Lambert.

As for reports of a feud between Blake’s former wife and new gal pal? Gwen’s recent decision to “Favorite” a tweet by Miranda that showcased a photo of Lambert and her grandma indicated that no revengeful feelings exist on that side.

And Lambert has her own new love interest. Anderson East is 27 (Miranda is 32), and he is a singer. As a result, after some challenges recovering from her divorce in 2015, Lambert is happy in the New Year, a source told People.

Miranda even shared a photo proving her romance in which she cuddles with Anderson.

Lambert and East initially met through work on an album. But it turned to love, confirmed when they chose each other as company for greeting the new year.

Unfortunately, as the Inquisitr reported, their choice of a ski destination made their New Year holiday go downhill when Anderson was injured in an accident. But Miranda was there to help.

The injury that ruined the vacation for Lambert and her new boyfriend was serious, and East sustained a broken collarbone, according to Us Weekly.

“It was a nasty fall but Miranda was there and helped him heal, took him to get treated,” an insider told Us Weekly. “So it wasn’t quite the fun holiday trip they wanted, but they were still happy to be together and he’s really happy she was there nursing him by his side and making sure he was OK.”

While Lambert helps Anderson heal, Blake and Stefani are looking forward to something new, and it doesn’t involve each other. He’s set to play a pig, while she’s become a troll for their new movie roles.

The Voice Coaches Turn Into Pigs & Trolls

For Blake, creating a song for The Angry Birds film wasn’t easy, reported EW.

“I can write things about myself and my life. But I don’t have a whole lot of experience being shot out of a slingshot at pigs,” admitted Shelton.

He’ll become the voice of a pig described by EW as a “country-fried pork chop” and was urged to include a country twang in the role.

“They kept saying, ‘More country!’ I felt like I was doing a voice-over for Dukes of Hazzard,” he joked.

And while Blake becomes a pig, his girlfriend is set to become a troll in an animated film. The DreamWorks Animated movie Trolls will feature Gwen’s voice as a troll character, reported People.

She tweeted her excitement with a photo.

“Hair we go! Meet DJ Suki!”
