Justin Bieber Still Misses Selena Gomez Despite Dating Hailey Baldwin

Justin Bieber may look happy with new girlfriend Hailey Baldwin, but he’s missing out on what he had with Selena Gomez.

Rumors are circulating that the Biebs misses what he had with his his famous ex-girlfriend. It looked like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were officially over now that he’s been spotted with Hailey Baldwin in St. Barts. But sources declare never say never. An insider told the Hollywood Life that even though Bieber still has feelings for Gomez, he knows that they both should move on with their lives.

“They are different people because Justin made it that way. He continued to push her away time after time and then when she didn’t come back the way she usually would after his ‘My Girl’ stunt he could tell that he lost her. He pushed her away too much and now they just have memories.”

Sure, Justin Bieber still loves Selena Gomez and what they had together, but it’s not what you think. He’s holding onto those fond memories. He knows that those feelings and memories can’t be replaced by another girl, not even Hailey Baldwin. Sorry, “Jelena” fans. The source also added that they’re not getting back together.

“He loves what was and not what their relationship is now. They both have moved on and can’t hold onto the magic they once had. They both have finally started realizing it. It is what it is — they won’t ever get back officially again.”

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Bieber is still in love with Gomez. He admitted in a recent interview on The Bert Show that he still holds a door open for his former girlfriend. But the interview was taped on Dec. 17, long before Bieber went public with Baldwin in paradise. Though he has feelings for the “Same Old Love” singer, he knows that their relationship is over because they’re in different places in their life.

“We were on and off for years and we left on good terms, so I think we just needed time to grow for ourselves and we’re like, ‘maybe we’ll come back together in the future.’ And it ended up being so long and we just grew apart and we’re just not the same people anymore. We’ll hang out and I’ll see her every now and then and we’ll talk, and that’s pretty much it.”

Selena Gomez also put the final nail in the coffin when she said that she’s “beyond done” talking about Justin in a recent Rolling Stone interview. What made her react that way was because Selena was asked a question about what really went down during their hotel piano date night when Justin sang “My Girl” to her. Maybe Selena didn’t want to make “Jelena” fans assume that she was getting back with the singer, or maybe she’s just sick of being asked the same questions over and over.

Even though she’s apparently over the Biebs, both singers have confessed that they still love and support each other in other interviews. While Bieber has moved on by making out with Baldwin in paradise, Gomez has been moving one with One Direction member Niall Horan. The last that fans heard about them was back in December, when they were reportedly kissing at a party and holding hands at the Santa Monica Pier.

The Celebrity Dirty Laundry claims that Selena and Niall didn’t spend Christmas together, while the Hollywood Life reported that Niall gifted Sel one of his favorite T-Shirts even though they didn’t exactly spend the holidays together. According to the report, the two stars were too afraid to make a move, which is probably why there haven’t been any other photos of the couple in recent weeks. Instead of vacationing with her new man, Selena also went on a tropical getaway with her group of girls, in which she also revealed that she purposely left her phone at home.
