Jennifer Lawrence Uses Her ‘Slutty Power Lesbian’ Style To Voice Her Feminine Ideals

Jennifer Lawrence has gone from obscurity to the height of fame in a few short years, and now she’s using her unique style to fight for women’s rights in Hollywood and across the nation.

Using her beauty and her brains, Lawrence has emerged as a role model for young women and a feminist icon who is both beautiful and strong.

During an interview with Glamour, Lawrence explained how her style has changed as she went from a Kentucky teenager to powerful sex symbol and highest-paid actress in Hollywood.

“So you don’t see me as a slutty power lesbian on the red carpet a lot, because I’m embodying the Dior woman, which is an honor.… But [also] I’ve got t**s and an a**.”

Jennifer has used her time in the spotlight to break through gender barriers and shatter glass ceilings, first with the Hunger Games and later with her open letter to Hollywood about pay inequality.

“What’s the point in having a voice at all if I’m not going to use it for what I truly believe in?”

The star of Joy has gone on to become a fashion icon and Christian Dior ambassador, but she refuses to lose weight for a movie role and insists on maintaining a healthy body image.

Lawrence’s realistic approach to diet and exercise has inspired a generation of young women to develop a healthy view of their own bodies.

When she stood up for herself after her private nude photos were leaked in 2014, she took a stand against the objectification of women in Hollywood, saying she had a right to do with her body as she pleased.

The leak of her photos, Jennifer told Vanity Fair, was the same as sexual exploitation and the media’s obsession with them was heartless and detached from humanity.

“It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting.”

More recently, Jennifer used her new feminist icon status to come out in support of Planned Parenthood, saying the organization provides vital health services to women, according to the Guardian.

“It isn’t an attack on abortions; it’s an attack on women.”

Lawrence’s influence has spread as she found Hollywood allies in her fight for equal rights, including Orange is the New Black star Ruby Rose, who told the Cut Jennifer spends a lot time supporting women and the LGBT community.

“Jennifer Lawrence is an amazing actress and an amazing advocate for women and women’s empowerment and the wage gap in Hollywood and so many amazing things.”

Her relationship with Amy Schumer has inspired a movie script she hopes will lead to a powerful women lead project. In her Glamour interview, Jennifer joked that mainstream Hollywood has the mentality that women can’t succeed as well as men, something she plans to prove wrong.

“As women we don’t know we’re at a deficit because we have vaginas.”

It’s that same humor and down-to-earth nature that turned Lawrence into America’s BFF.

The beloved Oscar winner has gone from obscurity in Kentucky to one of America’s most beloved stars in a few short years with her unique personal style. Her down-to-earth approach to life has taught us women can be beautiful and sexy while still being a force to be reckoned with.
