Josh Duggar Files Motion To Dismiss Lawsuit, Says Adult Film Star Has No Proof [Video]

Josh Duggar has made a motion to dismiss Danica Dillon’s lawsuit claiming she was the victim of battery during their alleged sexual encounters. According to CBS News, Josh Duggar’s lawyer, Jeffrey A. Conrad, filed court documents claiming that Dillon failed to prove Josh “attempted by force to do injury to her.”

According to court documents filed December 30, Josh Duggar lawyers assert Danica also “did not provide anything more than a formulaic recitation of the elements of assault and/or battery,” and the adult film star’s “labels and conclusions are not adequate, particularly because she states that she consented to physical and sexual contact in exchange for payment.” Josh is asking the case against him be dismissed.

In November, Danica Dillon filed a $500,000 lawsuit in a Pennsylvania against Josh Duggar, claiming their consensual sex encounters were so rough that she felt she was being raped. She also asserts that because Duggar was so aggressive, he caused her “physical and emotional injuries.” In the documents, Dillon alleged Josh paid her $1,500 for sex in March and April of 2014.

During interviews at the time, Dillon claimed that Josh “threw me on the bed,” explaining that “though it was consensual it more or less felt like I was being raped.” Danica is very adamant that although she felt abused, the sex was consensual, and she “never said no, I am going to have to reiterate that, I never told him no.”

“But I did push him back and push him off and say that’s too rough, that’s too rough,” the woman said in interviews.

A source close to the Duggar family revealed that in court, “it doesn’t matter who is right or wrong,” and all that matters is “who can prove it.” The source also revealed that “Josh is a smart guy.”

Despite the scandals, Josh Duggar’s wife, Amy, has confirmed she will not leave Josh any time soon. The mother of four has been under pressure from Duggar fans to leave Josh, but Anna has stated that she will not.

In an episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Anna Duggar confirmed that her “prayer and my heart’s desire is for our marriage to be restored.”

Josh has been heavily criticized by members of the Duggar family for his secret life. One brother, John-David, confirmed on camera that although he used to idolize his brother, he no longer wishes to be anything like him. Indeed, John-David has confirmed that he now feels the burden to set a good example for his younger brothers.

Josh Duggar’s cousin, Amy (Duggar) King, has openly criticized Josh for leading a double life. On her blog, Dillon & Amy King, Amy recounted when she heard the news that Josh molested several girls as a teenager and confessed to cheating on his wife.

In the blog post, which recounts her past year, Amy revealed that she “was completely shocked” to learn about Josh Duggar’s secret life. Remembering that she was trying on her wedding dress when the news broke, Amy said “[r]age came over me, sadness crept in.” As she held her wine and tried on her dress, Amy said she realized Josh wasn’t who she thought he was.

The “reality sat in that the person I had known my entire life turned out to be a fraud, and a complete stranger.” King also confessed that she had “always heard that there were people in this world that lived a double life,” but never thought Josh would be one of those people.

Since the news broke that Josh Duggar was cheating on his wife, the disgraced reality star has been receiving treatment for sex addiction at a faith-based facility in Illinois, although rumors have surfaced that Josh has left rehab.
