‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Nicole Says Goodbye To Daniel, A Decision Is Made Regarding His Heart

Wednesday brings a heartbreaking episode of Days of Our Lives. Spoilers detail that this will be the final goodbye to Daniel as he is taken off life support, and a decision is made regarding his heart. Will it go to Eric or Brady? The January 6 show also brings significant progress for Chad and Abigail.

According to She Knows Soaps, this episode will have a devastating farewell from Nicole to Daniel. Viewers watched Nicole’s heartbreak as she learned of Daniel’s accident and prognosis, and now it is time for him to be removed from life support. While this will be life-changing for many in Salem, viewers know it will be particularly difficult for Nicole and Maggie.

Maggie has been told that she needs to choose whether Eric or Brady gets Daniel’s heart, an impossible decision to face. As fans saw on Tuesday’s show, John volunteered his heart to Brady, but, of course, that is not a realistic option. Victor has encouraged Maggie to make the decision that gives her peace, while Marlena has been considering an antibiotic protocol that could be an option for Eric. Days of Our Lives spoilers detail that a resolution is found on Wednesday’s show.

Although fans will have to tune in to see how it all plays out, neither Eric nor Brady will be dying at this point. It is known that Greg Vaughan, who plays Eric, will be leaving the show. However, his departure is said to be happening this spring. In addition, as Vaughan has talked about his departure, he has made it quite clear that the door will remain open for the character’s return at some point.

Will Brady get Daniel’s heart and Eric be put on the risky protocol? Will another heart be found in time? Answers will come during this next episode, but the decisions made will leave quite the mark on many throughout Salem.

Also ahead on Wednesday’s show is a breakthrough for Chad. He got testing done that confirms he is Thomas’ father, but due to Andre’s brainwashing, he was still struggling with accepting it. Abby handed Thomas to him, and Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that this will be the key to bringing Abigail and Chad back together.

As Celeb Dirty Laundry shares, it seems that as Chad looks into Thomas’ eyes, things will become clear again. Chad has already been having some flashes of the love he had for Abigail, but Andre’s brainwashing was strong. Now, as Chad holds Thomas and knows he is the baby’s father, it seems Chad returns to his usual self.

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Chad and Abby will be stronger than ever after this, and they will formulate a plan to topple Andre and Stefano. There is said to be an engagement coming for “Chabby” soon and seemingly a wedding as well. Unfortunately, there may be trouble coming for the new family in May or June, as big changes of some nature are ahead for Abby. Viewers will have to stay tuned to get the scoop on where the show is headed on this front.

Wednesday’s show also brings drama related to Hope. She is focusing on Stefano as the man responsible for Bo’s kidnapping, and there is a big showdown coming between the two soon. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Rafe will be quite concerned about how far Hope will go in this quest to avenge Bo’s death, but will he be able to stop her?

Viewers will certainly want to have the hankies handy as they watch this January 6 episode, where everybody says a final farewell to Daniel while Brady and Eric battle to survive. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC.
