Nick Viall is a fan of Ben Higgins. He made that clear when he appeared on AfterBuzz TV following the premiere of Ben’s season of The Bachelor on Monday night.

Nick and the other hosts discussed Ben as the Bachelor and gave their thoughts on the women who joined the show to compete for Ben’s heart. Nick had a lot of insight to give both on the show and Ben, since he appeared on The Bachelorette twice and got to know Ben during his second run on the show. Ben came in third for Kaitlyn Bristowe during Season 11 of The Bahelorette behind Nick and Shawn Booth.
Nick said that Ben handled himself and communicated very well with all of the women, in contrast to some of the previous Bachelors.
“He really is a solid guy… He can articulate…”
Nick also gave his prediction for Ben’s final three women. He chose Lauren B., JoJo, and Amanda.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, prior to Ben being officially named as the next Bachelor, Nick said that Ben would be a great choice for the role.
“Obviously, Ben H.’s name comes up a lot. I have a lot of respect for Ben H. He’s a really, really great guy. He is as sweet as everyone thinks he is… I think he would be a great choice…”
After Ben Higgins was confirmed as the next Bachelor, Nick Viall said that the show’s producers made the right choice. Nick said that Ben is one of the few people who lives up to the hype. The show has promoted Ben as “a perfect 10.”
“I think ABC made a great choice. I think he’s one of the few people that actually lives up to the hype. He’s a very sweet guy and now that he’s the leading guy I hope we get to see the other great sides of Ben. Ben has an edge and I hope that he shows it!”

On the night of the premiere, Nick also responded to some playful jabs from some of the men he competed with on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette. Tanner Tolbert tweeted that at least Becca Tilley and Amber James, who previously appeared on Season 19 of The Bachelor for Chris Soules, had the respect to show up on the first night. Tanner’s tweet was in reference to the fact that Nick, after competing for Andi Dorfman on Season 10 of The Bachelorette, showed up mid-season on Kaitlyn’s season in a bid for her heart.

Nick responded that he too busy avoiding unnecessary group dates.

JJ Lane tweeted that he’s sure that Nick will show up next season but will wait until the fantasy suite dates week to show up.

Nick responded to JJ’s tweet with an eggplant emoji, which may have been his way of telling JJ that he’s behaving like the slang word for penis.

Will Nick Viall ever return the franchise, either on The Bachelor after Ben Higgins’ season ends or The Bachelorette, for a third chance at love? Probably not. In an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment in September 2015, Nick said that he thinks his time with the franchise is over.
“I think my time with The Bachelor franchise — although I have no regrets — my guess is that it’s probably past.”
