‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Billy Fights For Survival, Jill Lashes Out, And Adam And Luca Discuss Their Plan

Tuesday brings another emotional episode of The Young and the Restless. After being beat up by his bookie’s thugs and accidentally run over by Noah Newman, Billy Abbott is in grave condition at the hospital. Everybody has gathered to lend their support, with Jill and Victoria particularly crushed by Billy’s condition. Where are things headed in the January 5 episode?

As viewers saw at the end of Monday’s episode, Billy was coding just as Noah was about to tell Victoria that he is the one who ran him over. She Knows Soaps details that Jill will rage at everybody as the doctor works on Billy, angry that nobody seemed to care about Billy much before the accident.

After Noah got interrupted, Victor stepped in and cautioned him to keep quiet. Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Victor will discuss this further with Noah, saying nobody else knows that Noah is the one who ran over Billy.

Victor had said that he had his investigators looking into the incident, and it seems he learned quite a bit. Noah will admit that Marisa knows, and later Victor will approach Marisa about the accident. They will agree that they both want Noah to stay safe. Although he is torn apart over it, for now, Noah will stay quiet about his role in Billy’s accident.

Billy is somewhat stabilized, but his condition remains critical. Jill continues to lash out at the Abbotts, but Phyllis steps in and comforts her. When the doctor needs a signature to authorize surgery, Jill says that Victoria no longer has the right to consent, and she will sign the form.

Chelsea has taken Johnny and Katie to the penthouse, and she and Adam talk about what has happened. Despite all the bad blood between Adam and Billy, Young and Restless spoilers share that Adam will talk about how Billy doesn’t deserve this while Chelsea talks about what a good father Billy is. Chelsea will head to the hospital and comfort Victoria.

Young and the Restless spoilers note that Ashley will visit Billy, talking about how she is the one who is supposed to die, not him, and how Abby will need him once Ashley is gone. Traci overhears her talking about some of this and questions what Ashley said. However, Ash covers her tracks, and they talk briefly about Colleen’s death.

The family will learn that at this point, Billy’s chances are 50/50, and Victoria begs him to fight while Jack leads the family in a prayer. As Celeb Dirty Laundry shares, Jack will visit with Billy and promise to support him if he recovers.

Marisa will learn about Luca’s deal with Adam, but Young and Restless spoilers tease that she will be a bit leery of this plan. Luca is confident that he and Adam have a solid plan, but Marisa says that he needs to be careful. Later, Luca and Adam will connect, and they seem to disagree a bit on the timing of moving forward on their plan.

Luca will mention that Adam should go ahead and bust Victor, but Adam says they had agreed to move on their fathers at the same time. Luca indicates that he doesn’t have the information he needs yet, just as Victor walks in on the conversation. Adam covers, and Young and Restless spoilers note that when Luca leaves, Adam will talk about how they will be getting rid of the Santori family interference soon. Adam also says that soon Newman will be run by the man who truly should be running it.

Noah and Marisa will catch up again, and he will tell her that he’s staying quiet about his role in Billy’s accident. He’s clearly torn up about it, but he has been convinced it is for the best. The two will hug, and Young and Restless spoilers share that Luca will see them. Will this spark a change of plan in Luca’s supposed deal with Adam?

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that there is plenty more drama on the way this week. While Billy is going to survive this crisis, he will come out of it a significantly changed man, and viewers cannot wait to see just what comes next.
