Charlie Sheen’s Former Assistant Rick Calamaro Found Dead, Surrounded By Drugs And Booze

When Charlie Sheen went crazy we assumed he would die surrounded by porn stars, booze and drugs, instead it was Sheen’s former assistant Rick Calamaro who met that fate this week, minus the porn stars.

46-year-0ld club promoter Rick Calamaro was found dead by police several days ago and according to law enforcement sources:

“Numerous pain medications and an open bottle of alcohol” were found throughout the entire apartment.

Calamaro who was one of closest friends to Charlie Sheen for years had been rumored to be supplying Charlie with his abundance of drugs over the years. It is also believed that Calamaro was with Sheen during his famous October 2010 drug binge which included a briefcase full of cocaine that was used over a 36-hour period.

Rick Calamaro was also with Charlie Sheen when he trashed a hotel room at The Plaza Hotel while spending paid time with porn star Capri Anderson.

Investigators have not yet announced a cause of death and toxicology reports can take several weeks to be completed. Calamaro’s body was found in his Los Angeles apartment.

Charlie Sheen who is busily working on his new hit FX show Anger Management has not yet released a statement regarding his friend’s death. It’s unclear if the two men were in contact with one another, Calamaro has been known to come in and out of Charlie Sheen’s life over the years.

I can’t say I’m surprised by news that someone who partied with Charlie Sheen passed away because of drugs and alcohol, I’m just surprised it wasn’t Charlie Sheen.
