Hailey Baldwin: What You Should Know About Bieber’s New Boo
Hailey Baldwin has become the latest girl in Justin Bieber’s life. The pop star sent his beloved Beliebers into a meltdown when he shared a photo of himself kissing the blonde model on Instagram. Now everyone wants to know who Hailey Baldwin is and where she came from.
Hailey Rhode Baldwin was born on November 22, 1996. She’s the daughter of Stephen Baldwin, niece of Alec Baldwin, and cousin of Ireland Baldwin. Hailey has had a promising career in the modeling industry by posing for indie magazines like Love and Tatler. She is currently represented by Ford Models, who have represented Elle Macpherson and Chanel Iman.
Her first modeling campaign was for French Connection, and she’s currently the face of the company’s Work to Weekend clothing line. Baldwin made her runway debut at London Fashion Week at the Topshop Unique Spring 2015 show, alongside Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn. If she wasn’t a model, she told Ford that she would love to act instead.
“In my spare time I like to act. I love theatre. One thing a lot of people don’t know about me is that I’m obsessed with Broadway musicals and I trained for about seven years in a musical theatre.”
Besides modeling and acting, Hailey would also like to be a dancer, according to Hello Magazine. She has taken ballet classes and has admitted that she would not completely rule it out as a career option in the future. In addition to that, Hailey’s an aspiring fashion designer who has already designed for Brandy Melville USA. Looks like this starlet is ambitious.
But she’s been making more headlines for being a Baldwin and for her friendship with Justin Bieber. Hailey’s been romantically linked to the Biebs for the past three years. Back in 2013, she said that the “Sorry” singer is just a good friend.
“We’re just friends. I’ve known him for a very long time, since I was about 13. He’s just going through a tough time in his life where he’s transitioning in a really positive way and he needs good people around him. And I’m trying to be a good friend and be there for him and support him.”
Justin Bieber has also denied the romance rumors. In November, he told Billboard that Hailey is “one of my best friends in the entire world,” but he had even more kind words to say about the blonde beauty. He said that “she’s fricking awesome. She’s got the sweetest soul.” Sounds like someone’s smitten.
Baldwin’s also good friends with Kendall Jenner, who was also linked to Justin Bieber around the same time that the threesome were seen hanging out at the Coachella Arts & Music Festival. In that same interview with Billboard, Bieber revealed that he and Jenner dated, but it was never serious. As for Baldwin, she wasn’t pleased when Hollywood Life ran a story about the three friends being involved in a ménage en trois. She took to Twitter to express her frustration over the celebrity gossip blog’s fake story.

When it comes to dating, Hailey told Wonderland that she would prefer if the guy makes the first move, although she admits that she’s likely to make the first move “on the dance floor.” Sounds kind of like Hailey and Justin’s New Year’s Eve, where they reportedly were seen making out at a party. Justin later confirmed the relationship rumors by sharing a photo of their hot make-out session.
Bieber better watch out because there’s another guy (or two) Baldwin has her eye on. She admits that she has a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio. Baldwin often posts photos of the actor on her Instagram. She also has a crush on Robert Downey Jr. and up-and-coming teen sensation Brooklyn Beckham, although he’s a bit too young for the sexy Baldwin.
