‘Duck Dynasty’ Clan Is Expanding, Willie and Korie Robertson Announce That They Are Adding To Their Family

It is no surprise that the Duck Dynasty CEO, Willie Robertson, and his wife, Korie, are big advocates for adoption, as they not only have three kids of their own, but they also have an adopted son, 13-year-old Willie Jr., and their foster daughter, Rebecca, 27. They have talked about adopting more kids in the future, and it looks like the duo have decided that now is the perfect time to add another child to their crazy family.

Korie Robertson took to her Instagram on Sunday to make the special announcement that they are expanding their family.

“We’ve had lots of questions about the cute kid popping up in our photos lately. We are excited to be in the process of adopting a new son! He’s been with us since May, but we wanted some privacy and time for him and our family to bond before telling the world (It’s a bit of an adjustment coming into this big, crazy family, ha).”

The photo that the Duck wife posted along with the announcement was of all of her kids surrounding the newest member of the Robertson clan. Rebecca, Sadie, Willie Jr., John Luke (and his wife, Mary Kate), and Bella look quite thrilled to have a younger sibling to love on and to welcome into their family. His name has not been revealed just yet, but he sure is a cutie, and looks like he is getting along just fine in his new Louisiana home.

Korie Robertson couldn’t be happier to add another child into their ever-growing dynasty clan. With the rest of her kids growing up so quickly, she sounds like she wants to continue being a mom to a younger one and giving another child a home and lots of love. She added her excitement about the upcoming adoption of her new son.

“He’s amazing, and we are all so thrilled to have another kid around the house. Couldn’t keep the good news to ourselves any longer! We appreciate your prayers and support for our family!”

Of course, this is not the only exciting news that is happening in this Duck Dynasty family. Daughter Rebecca Lo Robertson just got engaged to her boyfriend, John Reed Loflin. He popped the question over New Year’s, and she said yes!

ET had the details of the surprise proposal in Florida. There was apparently a treasure hunt at her fiancé’s parents’ condo on the beach, and she found the shell with the ring hidden in it. The Duck Dynasty daughter dished on what happened during her romantic treasure hunt.

“We had been walking for about an hour, and I saw this beautiful swirly shell hidden in the sand — and the ring was also hiding in there! He got on his one knee, pulled the ring out, and said, ‘I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. Will you spend the rest of your life with me?’ Then I said yes! I cried, and he said he teared up ‘a little.’ “

As if two new upcoming members of the family wasn’t enough, a third one is also about to join the duck calling reality clan. Jase and Missy’s son, Reed Robertson, proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Brighton Thompson, right before Christmas just a couple weeks ago. The Robertson family is growing by leaps and bounds, and they couldn’t be happier about it.

One particular person, Sadie Robertson, is especially thrilled by this upcoming union. She was asked to be Brighton’s maid of honor at their future wedding. This was her reaction.

“I AM HONORED TO BE MY BEST FRIENDS MAID OF HONOR!!!!!! Brighton Thompson I can not wait to stand by your side and watch you become a part of my family.”

It looks like 2016 will be another memorable year for the Robertson family. Marriages and adoptions are definite, but there could always be grand-babies in the future as well. You just never know.
