Porsha Williams Says She Loves Both Phaedra Parks And Kandi Burruss
How are things now between Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss? After the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, during which Kandi lashed out at Porsha for sticking up for Phaedra Parks so much, aired on Sunday night, Porsha tweeted that she loves both Kandi and Phaedra.
After a viewer advised Porsha to remain neutral between Kandi and Phaedra, Porsha said that she’s trying to since she loves both of them.

On last week’s episode, during the release party for Kandi’s new single with Demetria McKinney, Porsha commiserated with Phaedra after Phaedra told her side of the story in regards to her money dispute with Kandi’s husband, Todd Tucker. Porsha and Phaedra’s talk outside of the party caused Kandi’s manager, DonJuan Clark, to lash out at them for talking about Kandi and Todd in what he felt was a negative way.
On this week’s episode, during another party, Kandi and Porsha had an awkward conversation over what happened with DonJuan. Porsha asked to speak to Kandi alone, but DonJuan and Kandi’s assistant, Carmon Cambrice, followed Kandi to take part in the conversation. After Porsha said that she really doesn’t feel like having the conversation with DonJuan and Carmon there, Kandi snapped back that they don’t need to have the conversation at all. Kandi then yelled that Porsha shouldn’t expect anything extra from her. The two women walked away from one another, with Porsha yelling about Kandi’s “Kandi Koated team.”

Later, during a one-on-one lunch with Kandi, Porsha expressed her hope that Kandi and Phaedra will work things out. Things became tense when Kandi felt as if Porsha was taking Phaedra’s side too much. After Porsha admitted that she’s on Phaedra’s side because of her personal drama, in reference to her husband’s incarceration, Kandi pretty much said that Porsha is letting herself be played by Phaedra.
“I feel like both of ya’ll are full of s**t…You are believing the mother f**king hype…[Phaedra] wanted [Apollo] to be gone even before he went, before he even left to go to jail. She was really not that sad okay? Girl, please stop trying to do the pity party with me. Don’t.”
In an interview, Kandi said that Phaedra manipulates situations to make herself look better.
“Phaedra is an attorney so she knows how to manipulate the situation. She likes to, you know, keep her image. But just don’t do it at my expense.”
During the lunch, things calmed down between Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams after Porsha pointed out that just because Phaedra Parks wanted Apollo Nida out of her life, that doesn’t mean that she isn’t affected by the drama. Porsha explained that during the demise of her marriage to her ex, Kordell Stewart, she was still sad about the divorce and needed a friend, despite the fact that she couldn’t stand him. Kandi nodded in agreement. When Porsha asked Kandi if there’s anything that she can do to help her and Phaedra get back to what they used to be, Kandi admitted that her friendship with Phaedra may never be the same.

In her interview, Kandi admitted that she understands Porsha Williams trying to be a good friend to Kandi because “that was [her] too.”
Porsha Williams may have her work cut out for her if she intends on staying neutral between Kandi and Phaedra. Kandi and Phaedra used to be very good friends. That friendship disintegrated during the filming and airing of season 7, over Phaedra saying that Kandi wasn’t there for her in her time of need, and Kandi feeling as if Phaedra was pretending that everything between them was fine, only to talk badly about her to others.
On an early episode of the current season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss agreed to move on from their past drama. Yet the friendship is now being tested again because of Phaedra’s pay dispute with Todd Tucker over a workout video that he worked on for her years ago.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kandi tweeted last week that she and Phaedra are “cool.” Yet in an Instagram message that she posted on Sunday night, Kandi hinted that things are still not resolved between her and Phaedra.
“It’s always tough to watch the drama play out today over things we’ve supposedly worked out already.”
