Gigi Hadid Shares Shirtless Picture of Zayn Malik Holding Her Kitten – Crops Tattoo of His Ex Girlfriend

Gigi Hadid posted a very intimate photo of her (unofficial) current boyfriend, Zayn Malik and the Internet is going crazy over it, Us Weekly reports.

In the black and white photo, Malik is shirtless and he’s holding Gigi’s pet kitten, Cleo. Even though his head is out of the frame, Malik’s fans instantly recognized him because of all of his tattoos. One of his most recognizable tattoos– a cartoon depiction of his ex-girlfriend Perrie Edwards — was also out of the frame, the article in Us Weekly notes. Gigi did not include a caption with the photo.

As The Daily Mail reports, Zayn got the Perrie Edwards tribute ink in 2013. Malik started dating the Little Mix singer in 2012 and the two stars got engaged in late 2013.

But, Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwarrds never made it down the aisle. They broke up in August and now it seems clear that things are getting serious between Zayn and Gigi.

This isn’t the first time that the fashion model and former One Direction band member has let the public into their relationship via social media. As Us Weekly reports, in December, Malik shared a picture of Gigi snuggling with him. That picture was black and white, too, and it looks like that’s becoming a trend for Hadid and Malik.

There are other little signs on Gigi’s Instagram that she and Malik are in a relationship.

On New Years Eve, Hadid shared a picture of herself wearing a shirt from Malik’s favorite soccer team.

“When you try to be the local alarm clock cause you wanna do activities,” she wrote in the Instagram caption for the pic, where you can clearly see she’s wearing a shirt with the Bradford City AFC logo emblazoned on it.

The shirt even triggered some adorable Twitter banter between Malik and Hadid when the team offered to send Gigi a new shirt.

“It’s a lil old,” Zayn tweeted at Gigi with a winky face emoji.

According to Us Weekly, Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid started dating publicly in November, not too long after Gigi broke up with her previous boyfriend Joe Jonas. The two were first spotted at Justin Bieber’s American Music Awards after party, E! Online reports. According to People Magazine, at the time, insider sources said that the two were just “friends” and “casually hanging out.” But, they’ve been seen out together several times since that and now, with this shirtless picture of Zayn, their relationship is seemingly “Instagram official.”

Zayn Malik fans’ reactions to the shirtless black and white pic were mixed. Some were happy for the couple while others seem to still be harping on the Malik-Perrie Edwards split.

Gigi Hadid is the daughter of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster and land developer Mohamed Hadid. She’s also best friends with fellow supermodel Kendall Jenner. This makes things interesting when you consider that Kendall has been seen looking very cuddly with Malik’s former bandmate Harry Styles. According to E! Online, Kendall and Harry recently vacationed together in Anguilla, an island in the Eastern Caribbean. The two were spotted getting a bite to eat together by fans.

They were later snapped by paparrazi looking very cozy on a yacht in St. Barths, JustJared.com reports. These pics should put to rest any lingering questions on “are they or aren’t they” when it comes to Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner.

The real question is, will we see a Kendall-Harry, Gigi-Zayn double date in 2016?
