Meek Mill’s ‘Back To Back’ Remix Dissing Drake’s Feud With Chris Brown? Rapper Fires Back On ‘DC4’

Meek Mill’s ghostwriting accusations against Drake may have ignited one of the biggest celebrity feuds of 2015, but it appears Meek Mill is dedicated to further fueling his beef with the Toronto-based rapper in the New Year.

While Drake was partying it up in Miami on New Year’s Eve in celebration of a successful 2015, Meek Mill reportedly hosted a listening party for his highly anticipated Dreamchasers 4 mixtape in his native Philadelphia.

Despite the lack of information from Meek Mill regarding DC4‘s impending release, one partygoer in attendance at Meek’s Dreamchasers 4 listening party released several snippets of the rapper’s upcoming mixtape, including one eyebrow-raising remix of Drake’s “Back To Back” diss track.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers 4 will likely feature a new diss track aimed at Drake following the duo’s spat over ghostwriting allegations that ignited last year.

In one video clip obtained by DJ Akademiks, Meek Mill can be heard rapping over Drake’s chart-making “Back To Back” diss track while also simultaneously blasting the Toronto rapper’s longstanding beef with Chris Brown.

In the clip, Meek Mill reportedly raps, “We was in the club we was getting it cracking / Ducking Chris Brown you was missing in action.”

“Meek Mill ain’t letting Drake off the hook yet!” DJ Akademiks captioned the video, “Another snippet of that Back to Back freestyle *eyes emoji* New Year. Same beef.”

Meek Mill’s “Back To Back” remix seemingly references Drake and Chris Brown’s 2012 NYC nightclub brawl that reportedly began after Drake taunted Chris Brown’s former relationship with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

According to TMZ, Chris Brown’s bodyguard revealed that the bottle-throwing incident that occurred at W.i.P nightclub in NYC began after Drake sent a handwritten note to Chris Brown that read, “I’m f***ing the love of your life,” seemingly taunting Brown over Drake’s brief romance with Rihanna following her split from the “Loyal” singer earlier that year.

Drake’s note allegedly sparked a verbal altercation between himself and Brown that escalated into an all-out brawl and resulted in several club attendees being injured due to flying glass bottles that were thrown as a result of the dispute.

However, a representative for Drake later spoke out about Drake and Chris Brown’s club brawl by insisting that Drake was “leaving the nightclub when a fight erupted between Chris Brown and other partygoers,” noting that Drake “did not engage in activity that resulted in injury to a person or property,” Huffington Post reports.

Despite the claims, it appears Meek Mill is dissing Drake’s lack of accountability in regard to his 2012 brawl with Chris Brown in his “Back To Back” remix by implying that the rapper was “missing in action” when it came to confronting Brown at the club.

While neither Drake nor Chris Brown have spoken out about Meek Mill’s “Back To Back” remix, this isn’t the first time that Drake and Brown’s longstanding feud has been referenced in the duo’s music.

After Chris Brown accused ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran of “taking secret trips to Toronto” and “going on dates with Drake” while Brown served a jail sentence in 2014, Drake seemingly referenced Brown’s tumultuous past with Karrueche in his track “Live From The Gutter.”

“This for my n***** on that b******t and that nonsense / This for my dogs that go Karrueche with the chopsticks.”

While Chris Brown has been adamant about distancing himself from engaging in another public feud with Drake, claiming that he’s “too blessed for the b******t,” it appears Meek Mill is attempting to reignite Drake and Brown’s longstanding beef in his new mixtape.
