Kim Richards Has No Plans To Forgive Lisa Rinna As News Of Her Arrest Airs On ‘RHOBH’

Kim Richards has not yet been seen on the currently-airing sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and for good reason. At the time production was getting started, Kim Richards was going through a rough time.

During the show’s fifth season, Kim Richards, a former child actress, feuded with a number of her co-stars, but her main issue was with Lisa Rinna. On an episode of the cast’s trip to Amsterdam, Kim Richards and Rinna came to blows, with Richards suggesting Rinna was dealing with a big secret at home with Harry Hamlin, and Rinna retaliating by throwing a glass of wine. Then, during the reunion, things between the women became even more tense, with Kim Richards attacking Rinna’s career.

“They left off in such a bad place last year that it was difficult,” Kyle told OK! Magazine of her older sister and Rinna on December 31. “I didn’t even want my sister’s name coming up because of how everything ended. I was like, ‘I don’t want to talk about [Kim Richards].'”

However, when Kim Richards was brought back to the series unexpectedly, the drama between her and Rinna was brought up again.

“Obviously she and Lisa Rinna are not friends and it was horrible what happened between the two of them. I didn’t even see their whole conversation. [But] what I saw later, I was like, ‘Oh god!’ It was awkward,” Kyle said of the scene.

“There are lots of things we want to put to rest and never get to seem to be able to. They disagree. They don’t get along and they don’t see eye-to-eye.”

In April of this year, weeks before shooting was scheduled to begin, Kim Richards suffered a relapse at the home of her daughter, Brooke Brinson, and traveled to the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge, where she indulged in even more alcohol. After becoming a disturbance to the restaurant’s fellow patrons, Kim Richards was asked to leave, but wouldn’t, which led to the police being called. In the end, Kim Richards was arrested and was dealt a number of charges, including trespassing, battery on an officer, resisting an officer, and public intoxication.

In the weeks that followed, Kim Richards was believed to have attempted to get clean in rehab before heading to Brinson’s wedding in Mexico, where she may or may not have drank again. Although Kim Richards went back to treatment a while later, her troubles weren’t quite over. In August, Kim Richards was arrested for a second time after reportedly stealing $600 worth of items from a Target store in Van Nuys, California.

In a preview of next week’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the season 6 cast is seen reacting to news of Kim Richards’ shoplifting arrest.

“Kim was arrested,” Lisa Vanderpump announces in a sneak peek at the January 5 episode of the show.

“I think she needs help,” adds her husband, Ken Todd.

In a second scene, Vanderpump was seen again, addressing Kim Richards’ sister, Kyle, about the news.

“She would not go into a store and steal $600 worth of toys,” Vanderpump begins.

“Obviously, she’s not of a sound mind,” explains Kyle.

“Do you know where she is? Do you know anything?” co-star Lisa Rinna asks.
