‘RHOBH’ Star Kyle Richards Is Not Quitting Reality Show, Despite What Rick Hilton Has To Say

Despite allegations that her time on The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills was at an end, Kyle Richards has no plans on quitting the series. Kyle has been mired in controversy involving her own family during the current season of the reality series, and that only escalated when one family member indicated that she was done with the show.

According to TMZ, Kyle’s brother-in-law, Rick Hilton, recently stated that Kyle was no longer a part of the RHOBH because she was not happy with Bravo. However, Rick’s comments are now under question as it seems unlikely that Kyle would just up and quit the reality series.

In fact, an inside source told Radar Online that Rick’s statements were not only false, but that the Hilton family is not happy with Kyle’s statements on the show.

“Kyle was absolutely stunned,” the source stated. “There has been so much family drama between Kyle and her sister Kathy Hilton, Rick’s wife, ever since Nicky’s wedding last summer. Kathy was furious that Kyle was blabbing about the wedding drama on camera.”

Kyle and Kathy have been at odds with each other ever since Kyle’s husband broke away from the family’s real estate business. Since then, the drama between the two families has only escalated and, naturally, made its way onto the show.

More recently, Kyle Richards was uninvited to the wedding of Kathy’s daughter, Nicky Hilton, because they did not want her husband showing up at the ceremony. However, Kyle was eventually invited to attend the wedding, but her husband was still not welcome.

Although she is undoubtedly feeling the pressure from her family to quit the reality series, the source added that Kyle is determined to remain on the air.

“These family issues won’t take Kyle off the show. She loves being on it, especially without her other sister Kim,” the insider explained.

Meanwhile, many fans thought that perhaps the feud between the two families had been settled over the Christmas holiday after a photo of the two surfaced online. However, despite posing together for a holiday picture, E! Online is reporting that Kyle and Kathy did not settle any of their beef.

“The photo was staged. Notice they’re not even standing next to each other. It was an attempt to make everything look better than it actually is, but things are not smoothed over,” a source told the outlet. “They only saw each other briefly at the party.”

According to Radar Online, the fighting between the two sisters has actually only gotten worse since the holiday season.

“There is no truce between Kyle and Kathy,” an insider explained to the outlet. “They’re not getting along at all right now because their family issues go much deeper than they will ever reveal on a reality show.”

At this point, it is not clear if the feud between the two families will ever be settled. To make matters worse, Kyle is also not on good terms with her other sister and fellow RHOBH star Kim Richards.

Even though Kim and Kyle have fought on numerous occasions, the insider added that the situation between Kyle and Kathy is beyond anything the family has gone through in the past. Considering Kim’s missteps during the last season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, things are not looking good for the siblings.

“Kyle never thought things would get so bad with Kathy. Kim [Richards] has been a problem for years, but the snub by Kathy at the wedding crossed a line,” the source noted. “She doesn’t know how they’ll ever repair the damage!”
