‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Trailer Video For 2016 Released: ‘TWD’ Spoilers Claim Daryl Dixon, Carl In Danger

The Walking Dead Season 6’s trailer video for the second half has just been released, and already things do not look too good for certain character in 2016. In the past, The Walking Dead spoilers have indicated that both Daryl Dixon and Glenn may be facing death at the hands of Negan and the Saviors, but now this new The Walking Dead trailer gives us a solid hint about who is alive and who dies.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, if you are really interested in some in-depth TWD spoilers, then check out the article which explains who is Negan, the Saviors, Ezekiel, and Shiva the zombie-eating tiger.

The Walking Dead Spoilers

Even before the new TWD trailer released, actor Andrew Lincoln was already claiming that The Walking Dead Season 6 will be “unbelievable.”

“I will say episodes eight through 16 — I’m more excited than I’ve ever been before, just where the story is headed. Eight and nine are unbelievable. Unbelievable. They’re some of the best episodes I’ve read and when I was filming, it just got bigger and more epic and more insane every day that we shot. If I didn’t play Rick, I would love to be Negan. It is one heck of a role.”

Lincoln even teased Glenn’s death (again) by claiming that the TWD Season 6 finale ends with a “very big bang.” But fans are more worried that Daryl Dixon’s death may be coming down the road, since the previously released prologue showed Daryl being confronted by members of the Saviors.

The Spoiling Dead Fans has already provided some intel on what happens next. Long story short, the group escapes Negan’s men, but by Episode 15 of Season 6, Glenn and Michonne are captured. Daryl and Rosita attempt a rescue, but Dwight appears right behind Daryl with a gun pointed directly at his back. This is where Norman Reedus fans will have a heart attack, since Dwight pulls the trigger and blood sprays everywhere; ending the episode with Daryl “dying” on screen. Of course, with the Daryl character being so popular, it’s very likely to be a fake out.

Will Lauren Cohan Die in Season 6 of AMC's The Walking Dead?

In December, actress Lauren Cohan had TWD fans freaking out over the possibility of Maggie’s death after she was spotted with a new haircut. The reason fans began speculating is because contracts will often specify that an actor or actress cannot change their appearance substantially until their role is complete. But the comic book version of Maggie had short hair, and the character is destined to become the leader of Hilltop Colony unless Robert Kirkman decides to surprise everyone.

The Walking Dead Trailer: What Does It Tell Us?

Practically everyone was scrambling for their lives during the mid-season finale. The last time we saw Rick, Carl, Michonne, Gabriel, Ron, Sam, and Jessie, they were about to step out into the streets while using ponchos covered by zombie guts. In the comics, this was what happened shortly before the accidental shooting by Douglas Monroe, so it’s possible Carl will be in trouble during the February premiere.

The TWD trailer is not going to tell us what exactly happens, although Rick apparently loses his poncho somewhere along the line. Glenn is shown running to help while shooting a gun, and Maggie is screaming about something terrible happening (probably not Glenn’s death). We also do not see Carl, Jessie, Ron, and Sam after they attempt their poncho escape, which gives us the biggest hint of all.

In the comics, the death of Ron and Jessie Anderson occurred directly before Carl was accidentally shot. After Ron died, Jessie refused to let go of Carl’s arm as the zombies begin tearing into her, so Rick is forced to cut off her arm. If this scene does occur in the next half of The Walking Dead Season 6, then rumors suggest it is possible Sam will die due to his crying. If Jessie refuses to leave Sam’s side while clinging to Carl, Rick’s action may cause Ron to go crazy, grab a gun, and shoot at both Carl and Rick.

The Walking Dead Season 6’s release date is set by AMC for Sunday, February 14, 2016. If you need to catch up, AMC is currently airing a Walking Dead marathon.
