‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Tragic Car Accident Rocks Salem, Claims Life

Days of Our Lives is about to get even more dramatic. Spoilers for the New Year’s Eve episode reveal a huge car accident that will change the lives of many Salem residents, and even tragically end the life of one longtime character.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Days of Our Lives will end 2015 with a bang! After the Basic Black fashion show, there will be a huge car accident that will leave everyone rattled. Spoilers are being mainly kept under wraps, but those involved will be Jennifer Horton, Brady Black, Daniel Jonas, and Eric Brady.

This week on Days of Our Lives, fans have already seen Eric Brady in his recent usual state, drinking and bitter. Daniel and Nicole have already expressed worry over Eric’s drinking problem, and it looks like Eric will continue to drink throughout the night at the fashion show and then later get behind the wheel of his car to drive home, a mistake that could prove to be fatal for one character.

The report suggests that Eric may be to blame for the car accident, but it’s unclear as Jennifer, Brady, and Daniel will also be involved in the collision. Signs are pointing to Eric possibly getting into big trouble for his careless mistake and may even end up in prison, as Days of Our Lives fans know that actor Greg Vaughan is leaving the show.

Meanwhile, Dr. Daniel Jonas will suffer the most traumatic injury from the car crash and Days of our Lives viewers will see him eventually die from his injuries. This will lead to his ex-wife, Chloe Lane, and daughter Melanie Jonas to return to Salem, which will be hard for some of the residents such as Melanie’s ex-fiancé Brady Black, who is one of Daniel’s best friends.

Brady and Melanie haven’t seen each other since she left town so that Brady and Theresa could raise their son, Tate. However, when she returns, she’ll find a very different situation in Brady’s life as he is know in love with Theresa, living with her, and raising their son together as a team.

Chloe will also return to mourn the loss of her ex-husband and the father of her son, Parker, at Daniel’s funeral and could possibly run into her other exes Lucas Horton and Philip Kiriakis. Lucas and Chloe may share some common grief as Lucas only recently lost his son, Will Horton, to the Salem necktie killer, Ben Weston.

While all of this is happening, Abigail Deveraux will have to find a way to tell her ex-boyfriend Chad DiMera that he is the father of her son, Thomas, and not her ex-fiancé Ben Weston. Days of Our Lives fans will watch Abby struggle with this, especially since Chad has been brainwashed to stay away from her and pursue Belle Black-Brady. When Abigail finds Chad in bed with Belle it looks like the stuff will hit the fan. Unfortunately, Abby will be dealing with her baby daddy drama while saying goodbye to close family friend Daniel Jonas, who has been like a second father to her since she lost her own dad, Jack Deveraux, who is set to make a comeback sometime this spring, although details about Jack’s return are being kept mostly quiet for now.

It seems Days of Our Lives viewers will have plenty to look forward to in 2016 as the NBC soap shows no signs of slowing down in the New Year. Be sure to tune in weekdays to find out all the drama that plays out.
