Lisa Vanderpump’s Former Mansion Goes Up In Flames, Cast Of ‘Real Housewives’ Evacuated

A mansion that once belonged to Lisa Vanderpump went up in flames last night in Beverly Hills. The house fire, which occurred next door to a mansion where the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” was filming, forced production on the reality show to be temporarily halted and the cast to be evacuated.

The mansion has been featured several times on the Bravo show (it was the location of Vanderpump’s daughter’s wedding) and still appears in the opening credits.

Vanderpump said:

“I’m shocked, really… It’s been an incredible journey coming to America and living there. My daughter got married in that house, so I’m pretty emotional about it even though I sold it a few months ago.”

Ace Showbiz reports that the fire started at about 6 pm on Friday evening. The cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” were next door filming at Adrienne Maloof’s home. The cast was evacuated as fire fighters came to the scene to contain the fire.

The Los Angeles Fire Department wrote:

“Large 2-story residence in w/ moderate smoke from roof… Fire beginning to burn through roof of ‘large mansion’. Additional firefighters requested…. Over 100 LAFD Firefighters maintain aggressive attack. Fire not extinguished but contained to structure. No injury.”

According to E! Online, Vanderpump sold the home in September for approximately $19 million.
