‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Season 10: Kendall Jenner Quits The Show?

Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kendall Jenner has reportedly quit the series after season 10. Following years of reality television, a Life & Style report, via Hollywood Life on December 29, claims Kendall Jenner has had enough of the family business, and is ready to move on.

“[Kendall] thinks the show is damaging her reputation. She doesn’t want to be associated with it any longer,” the magazine source alleged.

Kendall, 20, has appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians for much of her life, and most likely, there’s not a whole lot of her life that she remembers without the cameras — she was just 12 when she began starring on the E! Network reality series. However, now that she’s grown up, things between herself and her younger sister, 18-year-old Kylie, have grown strained. Throughout season 11 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kendall and Kylie have been at odds on several occasions.

Aside from her drama on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kendall has taken on a number of high-profile modeling gigs, and is “one of the world’s youngest and highest-earning models,” according to Hollywood Life. Among her credits are an Estee Lauder campaign, multiple magazine covers, including the covers of Vogue (in numerous countries) and Cosmopolitan, and runway shows with Michael Kors, Elie Saab, Balmain, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, and Diane Von Furstenburg.

Although Kendall’s role on Keeping Up With The Kardashians may have played a part in her impressive modeling career, which recently saw her walking in the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show just weeks ago, she reportedly now find the show’s image to be “tacky.” Meanwhile, Kendall’s mother, Kris Jenner, who is also featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, isn’t happy about Kendall’s potential exit from the long-running series.

“Kris is afraid that if [Kendall] drops out, it will be the start of the show’s downfall. It’s already dropped in the ratings as it is. She’s doing everything in her power to make Kendall sign [the contract],” the source added.

Several months ago, a source spoke out after Kendall faced a shocking rumor, linking her romantically to the boyfriend of her oldest half-sister, Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick. Although the rumor came and went quickly, the issue allegedly made Kendall rethink her future with Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

“[Kendall] is now questioning whether or not she should remain on the show,” a source told Hollywood Life earlier this year. “She doesn’t want to be known as a reality star, she wants to be taken seriously.”

But again, Kendall’s mother, Jenner, was completely against the idea of her leaving the show, and felt Keeping Up With The Kardashians was good for her, regardless of what rumors it led to.

“Kris of course is like, ‘No way, don’t be silly. There is no such thing as bad publicity.’ But [Kendall] is not happy about this one bit,” the source explained. “She’s really having second thoughts about sticking with [Keeping Up With The Kardashians]. She wants to express all this on Twitter but was told by Kris to just minimize it and make light of it.”

Keeping Up With The Kardashians began airing in October 2007, and has been a major hit ever since. However, while the majority of the cast has remained intact since the start, Rob Kardashian left in 2012, and Bruce Jenner, now known as Caitlyn, is no longer in a full-time role.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 10 airs every Sunday night at 9 p.m. on the E! Network.
