‘RHOBH’ Kyle Richards & Kathy Hilton’s Feud Takes A Turn For The Worse: ‘It Was The Lowest Of Insults’

Kyle Richards and her older half-sister, Kathy Hilton, were spotted together at Kris Jenner’s Annual Christmas Party just days ago, but The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans shouldn’t get too excited for a potential reconciliation. While Kyle Richards and Kathy posed alongside Faye Resnick during the celebrity-studded bash, a source has since spoken out, claiming things between the two women remain strained.

“There is no truce between [Kyle Richards] and Kathy,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online on December 29.

“That photo was a total set up,” Radar Online‘s source explained of the photo above. “They’re not getting along at all right now because their family issues go much deeper than they will ever reveal on a reality show.”

During the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards revealed to Lisa Vanderpump that she had been disinvited from her niece Nicky Hilton’s July 2015 wedding at London’s Kensington Palace by her sister, despite two of her family members being included in the wedding party. Then, during a completely separate scene, which also featured Vanderpump, Kyle Richards again spoke of the issue, revealing two of her daughters, Alexia and Sophia Umansky, as well as her husband, Mauricio, had been left off the guest list, as well.

“Chelsea Clinton was invited to the wedding but Kyle’s two kids Alexia and Sophia were not. That stung [Kyle Richards],” the source told Radar Online. “The Hiltons don’t even know the Clintons so it is even more hurtful. And then Kathy and Nicky come up with the excuse that the Rothschilds know them well? That’s a ridiculous story that [Kyle Richards] just couldn’t believe! It was the lowest of insults. It makes [Kyle Richards] think that Kathy is really becoming a social climber.”

According to the report, Kyle Richards never thought things between her and Kathy would be so bad. Although her relationship with Kim Richards has been strained for several years, mainly due to Kim’s struggles with substance abuse, and her relationship with Brandi Glanville, who often speaks negatively about Kyle Richards, Kyle and Kathy have appeared to be close in recent years. Now, however, noted the source, Kyle Richards is unsure if she and Kathy can get their relationship back on track.

In other news regarding Kyle Richards and her family, Kathy’s husband, Rick, recently announced she would be leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“Should I mention about [Kyle Richards] quitting the show?” Rick asked his wife during an outing in Los Angeles, before turning to TMZ cameras and revealing the unexpected casting news.

“It’s nice because there was upsetting things going on because they were covering my daughter’s wedding. The show was taking advantage [of the situation], but [Kyle Richards] says she was going to give notice to quit the show because of what they made her… the wedding information in the show. So, that was nice of her to do.”

Rick further confirmed his comment to the cameraman, after the videographer suggested that Kyle Richards could ultimately change her mind about leaving the show.

“[Kyle Richards] told us she’s already given them notice, so it’s already happened,” Rick alleged.

So far, Kyle Richards hasn’t said a thing about her alleged exit, and neither has Bravo.
