If Khloe Kardashian And James Harden Haven’t Broken Up Yet, They Soon Will [Report]

What’s going on with Khloe Kardashian and James Harden? Earlier this week, OK! Magazine, via the Daily Mail, claimed Khloe Kardashian had been dumped by her boyfriend on Christmas Day after becoming overwhelmed with her family’s alleged meddling in their relationship. According to OK!’s source, Khloe Kardashian was upset over the heartbreak, but according to a separate source, Khloe Kardashian and Harden haven’t split quite yet.

“[Khloe Kardashian’s] not sure what she and James are. She’s been so wrapped up with her family and Lamar and trying to absorb as much joy as she can out of this holiday season that she’s oblivious to the drama,” a source told Hollywood Life on December 28.

Although Khloe Kardashian and Harden have reportedly not yet split, things between them are said to be incredibly strained due to their hectic schedules.

“Yes, there are issues between them. The distance is a big one and [Khloe Kardashian] has a lot on her plate, particularly Lamar, and she wants to be by his side every day as he gets stronger and healthier. [Khloe Kardashian] needs James to understand that she doesn’t have a double and that she’s no clone. She’s only one woman who’s spread incredibly thin.”

Since October, Khloe Kardashian has been at Odom’s side as he recovers from a drug overdose, which he suffered while partying at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada. Immediately after news broke of his condition, Khloe Kardashian, her sister Kim, and mother Kris Jenner boarded a private jet, which flew them to Las Vegas, where he was being treated at the Sunrise Hospital. She then remained at his side as he was in a coma for days before they traveled to Los Angeles together via medical helicopter. Since then, Khloe Kardashian has regularly visited Odom at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood. Meanwhile, her relationship with Harden has practically been on hold.

“[Khloe Kardashian’s] given all she’s got to both Lamar and James. She can’t give anymore. If that’s not enough for James, [Khloe Kardashian] understands and would love nothing more to remain friends.”

While Khloe Kardashian spends the majority of her time in Los Angeles, she has visited Harden in Houston, where he plays for the Houston Rockets, at least once, and the pair have also been seen in Los Angeles. Still, with Harden’s schedule of games around the country, it’s understandably difficult for the couple to arrange to be in the same place at the same time.

Khloe Kardashian and Odom were married for four years before she filed for divorce in 2013, following rumors or drug use and affairs with other women. In the years that followed, Khloe Kardashian went on to date a number of men, most notably French Montana, who appeared on Khloe Kardashian’s spinoff series with Kourtney, Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons. Then, in the summer of this year, she and Harden began dating.

Although Khloe Kardashian and Harden have kept a low profile, at least for the most part, the reality star and author (she recently released Strong Looks Better Naked) recently reacted to the backlash, claiming she was responsible for Harden’s less-than-impressive season thus far. Often, celebrities dating athletes are the target of so-called curses, but Khloe Kardashian wanted no part of the allegations.
