Jeremy Calvert In Handcuffs: Was The ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Arrested?
Jeremy Calvert is one of the most liked men in the Teen Mom franchise. He came onto Teen Mom 2 when he began dating Leah Messer, who he subsequently married. Calvert and Messer had a daughter together, and things were going well for the two until Season 6. As it turns out, Jeremy Calvert filed for divorce from Leah Messer during the taping of Teen Mom 2 Season 6, and their divorce was finalized just this past June. Since then, Calvert has been very active on social media and posts a lot about his daughter Addie. He is co-parenting with Messer and has not complained about her yet.
According to Us Weekly, Jeremy Calvert posted a photo of himself in a police car with handcuffs on. This has been leading to speculation he was arrested. However, just a few hours later, he was tweeting about visiting Mr. Houska in South Dakota. It appears that if he was in legal trouble, he would not be back on social media within hours. Speculation is that he is either friends with an officer or maybe was held in the car for a few minutes during an investigation. Calvert hasn’t proven himself to be one who would relish a life of criminal behavior, so many Teen Mom 2 fans are going with the fact that it was likely a prank.
It seems Jeremy Calvert has done really well for himself following the split with Leah Messer. He is holding down his job, has managed to stay out of trouble, and is actively visiting and spending time with his daughter Addie. Despite the breakup of their marriage, Calvert and Messer have remained amicable. There was even a photograph of Calvert at one of the twins’ musical performances in December. He brought his daughter to support his sister. It seems that Jeremy Calvert is one of the best examples of a father from the Teen Mom franchise.
Teen Mom 2 will be back for Season 7, and it looks like Jeremy Calvert will be on board as well. According to MNR Daily, Jeremy Calvert has said he is returning, but MTV has not confirmed that. Right now, the network is gearing up for the new season of Teen Mom OG and not focused much on Teen Mom 2. Fans are looking forward to seeing what happened with Jeremy Calvert and Leah Messer after their divorce was finalized. Her twins now live with their father, Corey Simms, so she is raising Addie alone. Calvert has decided to allow her to have residential custody, so things must be looking up for her compared to last season.
Right now, it appears that Jeremy Calvert is doing well with the single life. There doesn’t seem to be anyone special in his life, or at least not anyone he is willing to share with the world. The photo of Calvert in the cop car was likely a prank, one that got a lot of fans riled up. Currently, Calvert has not addressed the photo, and chances are he won’t.
