Khloe Kardashian Visits Lamar Odom In Hospital, Continues To Support Ex Despite ‘Distance’ Rumors

Khloe Kardashian may have moved on romantically from estranged husband Lamar Odom, but that doesn’t mean Kardashian has left Odom’s side since the basketball player suffered from a near-fatal overdose earlier this year.

Despite rumors that continue to suggest that Khloe Kardashian is putting some “distance” between herself and Lamar Odom, now that the basketball star has begun to recover from his overdose, Khloe Kardashian shut down the rumors by making a point to visit Lamar in the hospital on Sunday.

According to TMZ, Khloe Kardashian continues to visit Lamar Odom on a regular basis while the athlete undergoes extensive physical and cognitive therapy at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.

The site further notes that while Kardashian had her and Odom’s divorce proceedings dismissed upon hearing the news of Lamar’s overdose, Khloe is still not planning on reuniting with Lamar and is simply focused on helping her former husband on the road to recovery.

The news comes just days after sources close to Khloe Kardashian confirmed the reality star’s plans to continue to visit Lamar over the holiday season, People reports.

A source close to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star reveals that although Khloe will be busy with her family’s annual holiday celebrations, the situation with Lamar still “weighs on Khloe” given that Kardashian “is not one who just walks away.”

The source further explains, “[Khloe]’s going to be there for [Lamar], but she also needs to start focusing back on herself—and she knows that.”

The source’s comments come on the heels of reports that suggest Khloe is preparing to “cut ties” to Lamar once his condition stabilizes, however, the source notes that Khloe will continue to show her unwavering support.

“Khloe is so looking forward to this year being over: 2015 was a hard one to say the least,” the source reveals, but notes that Kardashian “feels like the new year will bring new things, and she certainly deserves it.”

Similarly, the site notes that while rumors continue to suggest that Lamar has begun walking on his own following his overdose, the source explains that “Lamar’s condition remains the same” and reveals that the former Lakers player is still using a walker during his rehabilitation.

While Khloe Kardashian continues to remain mum regarding her decision to call off her divorce to Lamar Odom, Khloe previously explained to the outlet that she is prepared to support Odom despite the “very long road” of recovery ahead of him.

“There is a very long road ahead of [Lamar],” Kardashian explained, “He has to walk that road by himself, and, most importantly, he has to want to walk that road. I will be there supporting him every step of the way.”

While Khloe’s unwavering support for Lamar Odom has sparked breakup rumors between Kardashian and current boyfriend James Harden, the source neglected to weigh-in on whether or not the duo are still together.

However, Khloe appeared to dispel the breakup claims on her personal app when she responded to a fan’s question regarding whether or not she was to blame for James Harden and the Houston Rockets’ lackluster 12-14 record this season.

“Someone’s trying to give me too much power,” Kardashian explained in a rant on her app, “But my p***y is f***ing powerful bro, let me tell you that. First, don’t give me that much power and [James is] the f***ing s*** so suck my d*** and my b***s,” Business Insider reports.

While Khloe previously declared 2015 “the worst year” of her life, Kardashian’s source insists that the reality star is looking forward to the new year and getting a fresh start.
