Miley Cyrus Posts Hannah Montana Throwback — Her Most Outrageous Instagrams Of 2015
Miley Cyrus is admitting she’s missing her old self on social media, but could she be hinting a Hannah Montana reprise?
Miley took to Instagram on December 27 to post a number of throwback snaps of herself from her infamous Hannah Montana days, where she hinted that she was missing her her more wholesome days on the Disney Channel.
“I miss the old Miley lol lol lol lol lol #nofilter #prefilter #posttan [sic],” Cyrus captioned the snap, which appeared to be taken during her days playing the squeaky clean teen with a popstar alter ego on her one time hit children’s series.
Though she didn’t explicitly name her former alter ego by name, that same night, Billy Ray Cyrus’s daughter continued her sentimental streak and posted yet another throwback shot from her more innocent Disney days. Showing off a photo of herself sporting her once signature long brunette hair, Miley used the hashtag “#imisstheoldmiley” and wrote, “When haters say they miss the old me” jokingly adding “(ps some of y’all r [f***ing] cray cray! I look like cousin it f***ed a clementine! [sic].”

It was just this past February that Miley hinted that she may be open to a Hannah Montana reunion, but on one very specific condition. “I don’t know,” Cyrus told E! News of the possibility of a reunion. “Only if she, like, has an alter ego and is actually me. Reverse it all the way around.”
While Miley appeared to be getting all innocent on her fans with her recent Instagram throwback photos, she certainly hasn’t been much of an angel on the photo sharing site in 2015 after posting a number of controversial snaps.
On December 19, Miley took to the site to post a nearly nude shot of herself sporting next to nothing during the Los Angeles stop on her month-long Milky Milky Milk Tour. Wearing nothing but high cut panties and sparkly nipple pasties in the picture, which has more than 186,000 likes, Cyrus, who was sporting a pink wig in the photo, wrote, “Cool pic from tonight whooooz izzzzz it [sic].”
The singer and actress also took it all off again in September when she posted a racy snap of herself without a bra and sporting a white foamy face mask. Covering her assets with her left hand, Miley wrote alongside the photo, “Say no to shirts and pants!!!! Say yes to face masxxx & bruises!!!! [sic].”
But, never one to discriminate when it comes to her body, Miley also opted to give fans a better look at her behind in late August. Cyrus posted a butt-baring shot of her butt framed by a silver one piece thong as a teaser for the MTV Video Music Awards.
Baring it all again on November 10, Cyrus gave fans a sneak peek from backstage at the 2015 American Music Awards where she was covered only by circles promoting her upcoming appearance on the cover of V Magazine. “@vmagazine!!!!!! F*** yeah! #diaryofadirtyhippie #backstagevmas [sic],” Miley captioned the body baring photo.
Not content with just showing us everything she’s got on the outside, Miley also took the time to show us what she’s got on the inside in 2015. In a photo captioned “gnarly,” Cyrus actually gave fans the chance to look down her throat in one Instagram photo posted on September 7.

Shocking for a completely different reason, Miley surprised everyone with her Halloween costume this year. Far from showing off even more skin on the spooky night, Cyrus took to Instagram to show off her dress-up decision, which turned out to be surprisingly conservative. Miley uploaded a shot on the scariest night of the year dressed as a very covered-up Cinderella smoking a cigarette.
On October 13, Cyrus surprised her more than 33 million followers with a dessert photo. Writing “Dessert is served mi lady [sic]” alongside a heart emoji, the outspoken star uploaded a photo of herself in a black crop top appearing to smoke an unknown substance from a bong.
Cyrus also stirred up a whole lot of controversy this year when she Photoshopped a copy of her new album, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz, into the hands of Pope Francis. The picture, which has been liked more than 260,000 times on the site, was captioned “All the cool kidzzzz are listening to #mileycyrusandherdeadpetz check it out [sic].”
