By having this type of technology we end up looking for ways to use it and end up downloading numerous apps to make our lives easier. Uber is a company that pays people to act as a taxi service. Unlike a taxi service, the people who work for Uber use their own cars. On the app, you can put in that you need a ride and your destination, and an Uber driver that is close by will pick you up and take you where you need to go. Also, you can rate the Uber drivers on the app. Many Uber drivers are beginning to try and make their passengers as comfortable as possible by having snacks and movies in their cars.
Spotify is a music app. It is free to download, but you can pay $9.99 a month for ad-free music streaming.
Snapchat is a social media app that you can use to show your friends what you are doing. On the app, you can share your story. A story is a group of pictures taken that you can share for 24 hours. You can also “snap” people pictures of yourself and your day and have conversations with them. The pictures in your conversation only last up to 10 seconds.

While apps are fun and have many uses, not all apps are worth downloading. Some of the least popular apps on iPhone are Smurfs Village, Tiny Towers, and Candy Crush. Smurfs Village is an app where you can pretend to build a smurf village. Unfortunately, the app has a bunch of hidden fees. The app constantly asks you to spend money on objects in the game for you to progress. Tiny Towers is a game that has little purpose to the game. You have a building and slowly gain stories to add on to the building. There is little to do in the game and it quickly becomes boring. Candy Crush is a game like many others and has become so redundant it is boring. In the app you go from level to level and match identical candies. All of these apps are free but are simply pointless.

Android has many similar apps to iPhone but still have the typical unpopular apps like all platforms. Some of the worst android apps are Subway Surfers, My Talking Tom, and Hill Climb Racing. Subway Surfer is a game where you ride a skateboard and dodge obstacles. It seems more like a game for small children than for people who own phones. My Talking Tom is simply an app of a cat that you can talk to and he will repeat what you said in a high pitched voice. Hill Climb Racing is an app where you can play as a character and drive cars on unrealistic areas such as the moon.
