Although Khloe Kardashian keeps herself in top shape by spending a lot of time in the gym, the reality star recently shared some diet tips that helped her lose even more weight. In particular, Kardashian revealed that she cut one thing from her diet that eventually helped her to lose some 11 pounds in the span of a little over one month. What item did Kardashian cut from her diet?
In speaking with New Beauty magazine, Kardashian explained how she has a certain love for all things dairy, but taking them out of her diet is the one thing that helped her get over her latest plateau.
“I’m obsessed with cheese and milk, but eliminating them from my diet made the biggest difference. In a month and a half, I lost 11 pounds just from not eating dairy, without doing anything else different, and that totally blew my mind.”
According to Closer Online, there are actually a number of different health benefits people can gain from dropping dairy out of their diets. In addition to weight loss, cutting dairy can lead to clearer skin, better digestion, healthier bones, lower risk of cancer, and less consumption of antibiotics and hormones typically used in the manufacturing of milk.
In addition to the added benefits that come along with a diary-free diet, there are other reasons why people should consider ditching dairy, or at the very least cutting down on it. Dairy products, while containing large amounts of protein and calcium, also feature high concentrations of saturated fat. This kind of fat is known to cause a high level of bad cholesterol and is also linked with obesity.
Meanwhile, although she is doing great with managing her weight, Khloe Kardashian went on to reveal that she still struggles with a number of different insecurities. These include the appearance of her skin, which she admits is difficult to manage, especially considering how little she can do to change it.
“I have moles and freckles and they irritate me. They are an insecurity of mine, and I wish I could have clear, beautiful skin,” the reality star explained in the interview. “I’ve had people say that I have breakouts on my back when it’s really my moles. Those are things I don’t know how to fix.”
“I look to my sisters for a lot of inspiration. I also look to Kylie [Jenner] because I love how she does her makeup — because of her I’m into drawing around my lips,” she said.
At the same time, changing her diet isn’t the only reason Kardashian managed to recently lose weight. As most fans who follow her on Instagram know, Kardashian has plenty of time working out in the gym. In fact, the star frequently posts videos of her workouts on social media. These workouts are typically fairly grueling ordeals that most people would have difficulty finishing.
“I’m way healthier now than I ever was,” Kardashian went on to add. “I stay really hydrated by drinking five litres of water and taking vitamins every single day. Working out also makes my skin look better – everything looks better.”
