Yolanda Foster Upset With How Bravo Is Portraying Her Lyme Disease

Yolanda Foster has been battling with Lyme disease, and now it turns out that she is not happy with the way that Bravo has been portraying her on the show. This season, Yolanda came back part-time to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Now Radar Online is revealing Yolanda’s thoughts on the fact that the show is making it look like Yolanda could be faking her Lyme disease. On last week’s episode, Lisa Rinna even brought up Munchausen syndrome, which is a mental illness where people fake having a disease.

A source is now speaking out on what Yolanda Foster thinks about the way that the show is making her look.

“Yolanda is really mad about the editing that she is getting because she feels like Bravo is making it look like she’s faking her disease. She has fought so hard to get better and to portray her as exaggerating the disease is insulting her. She feels like she is being exploited. The attention Yolanda has been getting from her illness and her divorce has made her a bigger star, and she really likes that. Since she’s getting divorced she is thrilled that she is a famous name in her own right.”

Yolanda Foster is totally fine with being a big star though, and the source says that she is pleased with how some of the drama is playing out. This really could help out Yolanda with her career. Now that she is divorced, Yolanda is going to need to find a way to make money on her own.

E! Online shared that Yolanda Foster has a lot to say about what Lisa said last week on the show. Yolanda will not let what Lisa had to say about her get to her. The reality is that Yolanda knows the truth about what is going on with her health. Yolanda actually doesn’t blame Kyle Richards or Lisa Vanderpump for the comments and shared about it on her Bravo blog.

I don’t blame Rinna, Kyle or LVDP—I understand it and feel sorry to see my battle be such a point of weakness for them. If I let fear of what others say about me creep into my mind, I probably would not be where I am today.

Yolanda Foster shared that she actually walks away from situations like this and won’t let herself get too stressed out by it. Instead of trying to prove her case, Yolanda has decided to just let this all go. She shared saying “I will move on from the absurd Munchausen comment that is an insult to my integrity and that of my two children who battle this disease on a daily basis.”

Yolanda Foster even went on to explain that she is probably the only person in the entire franchise that uses the show to bring awareness to something. Yolanda does love that now that she is famous from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills it is a lot easier for her to share about Lyme disease with the world.

Lisa Rinna does seem to realize that maybe she shouldn’t have brought this up about Yolanda. She talked about it in her Bravo blog as well.

“The word ‘Munchausen’ was brought to me by my friend that these girls do not personally know, and I felt this was a safe place to bring it up. There I said it. I did. I own it. I don’t feel good about it and I was very upset that I engaged in these conversations with others that are as naive as I am about Lyme Disease, but I did and I shared it with these women. I now know I need to tell Yolanda, as Eileen said, you need to talk to Yolanda about it, and I believe that to be true. So there you have it!”

Do you agree with Yolanda Foster that they are not portraying her in the best way on the show? Do you think that Bravo should be more sensitive? Sound off in the comments below on your thoughts and don’t miss The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Tuesday nights on Bravo.
