Miley Cyrus May Have Been Naughty This Year, But She's Being Good This Christmas

Let's be real. Miley Cyrus has been naughty all year. She's taken several photos of herself topless and nude, made countless references to marijuana, and even released a video, "BB Talk," that features her dressed up as a sexy adult baby.

Now the 23-year-old is leaving the antics behind for the holiday season. Kind of. Miley Cyrus took to her infamous Instagram to share a series of photos on Tuesday, December 23. In one of the photos, she shared a sweet photo of herself with her mom Tish Cyrus. The "BB Talk" singer is seen wearing a chunky black turtleneck sweater and somewhat longer hair.

Miley captioned the photo, "My mama real life queen @tishcyrus #myqueen."

The singer got a little silly on Instagram when she shared photos of herself dressed up in various Christmas costumes. In one of the photos, she's seen dressed up as one of Santa's elves.

She also hinted to her fans that she has something special for them coming soon.

Cyrus captioned her silly mirror selfie, "I got a presssssie for yiew cummmminnnn soooon (sic)"

Some have wondered if Miley's releasing a new Christmas song. She's been seen jamming in the studio with Wayne Coyne, the frontman of the alternative psychedelic band The Flaming Lips. Check out the clip for yourself at Wayne Coyne's Instagram page.

The caption under Miley Cyrus' preview of her latest song says, "This is my sad Christmas song."

The singer only has a few days to release the song to her fans before it quickly becomes a post-holiday song. In the short video that's going viral on Instagram and Vine, Miley is seen singing two lines of the song.

"This is my sad Christmas song/I've had it in my head all day long."

She has already lent her vocals to Bill Murray's Netflix special A Very Murray Christmas. The blonde singer made an appearance at the end of the special alongside George Clooney to sing "Sleigh Bells," "Let it Snow," and "Silent Night" while wearing a sexy Santa Clause costume. Not only did she clean up for the show, but she also may have saved the special with her surprising vocal ability.

But things took a bizarre turn in another one of Cyrus' photos. She's seen wearing a brown feces prop on her head that has a stuck-out tongue. Alongside the photo, she typed a series of poop face emojis.

In the midst of the sweet and weird photos, Miley Cyrus also showed off her festive manicure. Last week, she debuted her freshly-painted mint green glitter nail polish.

Miley jokingly captioned the photo, "Schnailz lol #whatiznormal."

She was seen sporting mint green polish with glitter over it, which is perfect for the Christmas season. The following article on Hollywood Life shows how fans can copy Miley's manicure just in time for Christmas. You can also check out the video tutorials at the end of this article.

The singer recently finished her eight-show "Milky Milky Tour," which is in support of her Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz album, according to a Daily Mail report. The raunchy and wild club tour started on November 19 in Chicago and closed out with a bang on Saturday, December 19 in Los Angeles when she brought Pamela Anderson onstage. Cyrus was spotted wearing some pretty bizarre and provocative costumes, including fake breasts and a prosthetic penis.

With all of the naughtiness she's displayed all year long, some would say that they had enough of the performer. Amy Zimmerman wrote in her article on The Daily Beast that she has unwillingly overdosed on Miley Cyrus. But Miley has made some good moves, especially with the launch of her first nonprofit the Happy Hippie Foundation for underprivileged and homeless LGBTQ youth.

Earlier this year, Cyrus told the New York Daily News why she dyes her armpit hair and whatever else she does. Simply because she wants to show her fans that it's okay to be yourself.

"The pink pits are saying, 'Don't tell me what to do.' It's back to what I'm preaching in a way, you know, telling these kids. I'm not just saying you be yourself and I'm going to go be Miley Cyrus. I'm saying I'm going to be my (expletive) self, too."

Now here are some ways to paint your nails like Miley Cyrus for Christmas.
