Throughout the month of December, Sony has been holding a series of weekly sales of some of the best PS4 titles that give fans access to hit PlayStation games at discount savings of nearly 75 percent off in some cases. In the past weeks, gamers have been able to pick up several popular PS4 games like Grand Theft Auto V, Star Wars Battlefront, and The Last of Us during the seasonal sales promotion.

Continuing with the third week of the PlayStation Store holiday sale, Sony has made another selection of hit PS4 titles available at low prices. The current selection of discounted games will remain on sale through next Monday, when a new week-long sale is scheduled to begin.
“It’s Week 3 of PlayStation Store’s Holiday Sale, and we’re staying in the spirit with another stacked lineup of discounts on the year’s most acclaimed games and movies. Starting today, save up to 65 percent on AAAs, blockbusters and more. PlayStation Plus members save up to 75 percent.”
Headlining this week’s sales are the hit shooters Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Destiny featuring the recent Taken King expansion. These action-oriented titles are also joined by this year’s surprise PS4 horror exclusive, Until Dawn.
“This week only, head over to PlayStation Store to scoop up titles like Until Dawn, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and The Taken King, as well as films like Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation and San Andreas.”
In addition to featuring the base versions of hit games on sale, the holiday discounts also includes the deluxe collectors editions of many PS4 titles. Specifically, PlayStation Plus subscribers can now pick up the digital deluxe edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops III for $80 or the legendary edition of Destiny: The Taken King for just $29.59.
Other notable PS4 sales offered as part of the third week of the PlayStation Store holiday sale also includes several older titles at all-time low prices such as Battlefield Hardline, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse.

For those who still haven’t picked up Sony’s current-gen console, the sales also extend to plenty of PlayStation 3 titles as well. Destiny: The Taken King and Call of Duty: Black Ops III can also be found discounted on the PS3 alongside several cross-buy titles that will unlock on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 such as Broken Age, Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones, Super Mega Baseball, and Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition.

Week 3 of the PS Store holiday discounts makes it easier than ever for players to try out the latest installment of the popular Call of Duty franchise. In fact, chances are that most gamers already know someone who already owns Call of Duty: Black Ops III on the PlayStation 4. As the Inquisitr reported earlier this month, the most recent entry of the Call of Duty series was the PS4’s top selling digital title for the month of November. Black Ops III managed to beat out all other new holiday launches last month including Bethesda’s Fallout 4.
The new Christmas sales on the PS4 aren’t the only big holiday savings for gamers to enjoy. Xbox One owners will be able to take part in special daily deals for the remainder of the month that will grant players access to big savings on Halo 5: Guardians and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Xbox One fans will also get their own chances to take advantage of discounts for Destiny: The Taken King and Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Furthermore, PC gamers can also enjoy cheap games starting today with the launch of the annual winter Steam sale.
