Rob Kardashian’s Struggles Continue: ‘KUWTK’ Plagued By Weight Gain As He Remains In Hiding?

Will Rob Kardashian ever make his way back into the spotlight? For years, Rob Kardashian was a beloved character on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, so when he quit the E! Network reality show in 2012, many fans were severely disappointed, and as time goes on without Rob Kardashian on the show, fans continue to miss the former star.

Since leaving the show in 2012, Rob Kardashian has put on at least 100 pounds, which his mother, Kris Jenner, revealed on the series, and struggled with depression. He’s also failed to make a comeback, despite many reports claiming he was losing weight and planning to return to showbiz.

Although it remains unclear whether or not Rob Kardashian will ever return to Keeping Up With The Kardashians, his fans continue to hold out hope as Rob Kardashian’s issues have reportedly taken a turn for the worse.

In the latest Rob Kardashian report, shared by Youth Health Magazine on December 21, it is noted that the former reality star “feels neglected” because of his sister, Kim, and the attention she receives. As fans of the family well know, Kim’s fame is what started the Kardashian/Jenner phenomenon, garnering the family a reality series, which is currently in its 11th season, several spinoff shows, and numerous products, including a clothing line and a line of nail polishes.

In addition to feeling left out and overshadowed, Rob Kardashian has reportedly continued to battle weight gain and a slew of other personal issues.

“[Rob Kardashian] is still struggling and it makes the family sad,” a source told People Magazine last week. “He deals with depression, weight issues and low self-esteem, but that’s been going on for a long time. The family, especially Khloé, is very much there for him but it has to be his own journey to figure out.”

For the last couple of years, Rob Kardashian has been extremely close to his sister, Khloe, and up until recently, the siblings had been living together in Los Angeles. During Khloe’s marriage to Lamar Odom, Rob Kardashian lived in the couple’s home, and after they split, Khloe moved into Rob Kardashian’s apartment before getting a new home, which he later relocated to. Then, as X17 Online revealed last month, Rob Kardashian recently moved back to his apartment.

“[Rob Kardashian’s] such a great guy. That’s also what’s so infuriating,” Khloe said weeks ago, according to an earlier report by People Magazine. “He’s charming, charismatic, everything. But I’m like, where is your will to live? Where is your will to live life? Let’s be around people!”

According to Khloe, Rob Kardashian has attempted to get back to his old self several times, but often quits soon after due to a lack of results.

“I’ve been working on my patience. I’ve been really trying. But I have my moments and I do snap … I can’t win life for [Rob Kardashian]. I have to wait until [he’s] ready to do it for himself.”

Prior to his struggles with depression and weight gain, Rob Kardashian went through a couple of highly publicized, and seemingly painful, breakups from Adrienne Bailon and Rita Ora. After dating Bailon for a couple of years, Rob Kardashian and his former girlfriend called it quits in 2010 after he allegedly admitted to cheating on her. Years later, after a messy split from Ora, Rob Kardashian took to Twitter, where he claimed Ora cheated on him with “nearly 20 dudes.”
