Chrissy Teigen Gets Shocking ‘Lifetime Dream’ Christmas Gift From John Legend
John Legend is making wife Chrissy Teigen very happy by fulfilling a “lifetime dream” with a pretty surprising early Christmas gift.
Chrissy, who’s currently expecting her first child with John, took to Instagram on December 20 to show off an unexpected present she received from the “All Of Me” singer in the run up to the festive period: a huge cheese wheel.
Though it may not be the typical gift every supermodel is hoping for this Christmas, Chrissy wrote on the photo sharing site that owning a cheese wheel was a “lifetime dream” for her, and it sounds like this is one present that certainly won’t be going back to the store in January.
“A cheese wheel to dump pasta and risotto in for years to come!” Chrissy Teigen captioned a shot of herself planting a peck on John’s cheek after receiving the gift, adding, “My tableside serving game is bout to be liiiiiit! [sic]”
Chrissy clearly didn’t waste any time putting her early Christmas present to work, as she took to the social media site once again later in the day to show off her brand new cheese wheel at work.
Chrissy’s sweet gift from John comes just days after the model announced that she’s making the jump to author and releasing her own cookbook, titled Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat, which is set for release this February. Teigen revealed the cover for her latest venture on the social media site on December 14, writing alongside the cookbook’s cover, “It’s here!!! #CravingsCookbook is done and ready for pre-order! Link in my bio!”
Chrissy Teigen’s new book is expected to hit shelves just 2 months before the former Sports Illustrated cover star gives birth to her first child with John, and Teigen hasn’t been shy about telling the world about her cravings on social media.
Chrissy took to Instagram on December 3 to share an inside look at just how she’s indulging in her pregnancy cravings by digging into a pretty huge burrito. Adding the hashtags, “#GAINZ,” “#BULKING” and “#PREGNANCY,” Chrissy Teigen wrote alongside the photo, “This burrito is like those rats that survive nuclear attacks.”
Chrissy and John also used the photo sharing site to announce their big Teigen/Legend baby news back in October, when Teigen posted a black and white shot of the spouses with John’s hand resting on Teigen’s newly pregnant belly.
“John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant. As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now,” Chrissy wrote. “It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family,” Teigen continued, “We’re so excited that it’s finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching!”
Following the big reveal, an spoke out about Teigen and Legend to E! News, where they revealed that Chrissy and John “are so happy” about their baby news. “Chrissy is feeling great and enjoying every second being pregnant. She is taking good care of her body and making sure her and their baby are healthy and feeling good,” the source continued, “John has been a huge support for Chrissy during this time. He could not be more excited until their baby comes into this world.”
