Kenya Moore Planning For Baby: Getting IVF Treatments
Kenya Moore may be the queen of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she wants to have something that many of her co-stars have. Kenya may be a powerful business woman and a single woman, but she wants her own family. It is no secret that Kenya doesn’t talk to her mother, but she wants to break the cycle and be an awesome mother.
It is no secret that Kenya Moore wanted a family a few years ago when she started filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta. At the time, she was dating Walter Jackson and she was eager to get engaged and start a family. Once that relationship ended, Kenya considered becoming a single mother. She started talking about having children without a man, and her family questioned her decision. Since then, Moore has dated several guys, but it is uncertain whether her current plans include a man.
According to a new Radar Online report, Kenya Moore is now taking her baby plans to the next level, as she is visiting a doctor next year. This isn’t the first time that Kenya has talked about starting a family on her own, but now that she’s getting older, she wants a child now.

“I actually have an appointment set up for early next year,” Moore revealed during an interview with OK! Magazine, as reported by Radar Online. “It’s IVF.”
As it turns out, 44-year-old Kenya Moore is getting ready to start a family, even if it means doing it by herself. She is going ahead with the necessary tests, even though it would be a high-risk pregnancy.
“It gets a little complicated, but when a woman ovulates, a certain day you have to come in to get tested to show how many follicles that you are making that ends up being eggs, the eggs that you have to retrieve and grow,” Kenya revealed to the magazine, adding, “So it pretty much coincides with your cycle.”
As it turns out, Moore wanted to have a baby for a while, but The Real Housewives of Atlanta was getting in the way. She was always busy or out of town when the important meetings had to take place.
“I needed to be able to do it in my own time and when we are shooting, we are under so much stress and timing … every time I was supposed to be at the doctor — it’s a certain day you’re supposed to be at the doctor for testing, injections and all that — I was always out of town on Real Housewives of Atlanta business,” Kenya Moore said, adding, “So I just needed to do it when we’re not filming day-to-day.”

Many people are wondering who the mystery guy is. But as it turns out, she has a sperm donor. Even though she has been dating several guys over the past couple of months, she wants a child whether she is dating or not.
“I’ve been dating multiple people,” Kenya Moore reveals, adding, “But I would have to say that there definitely is someone on the show that I didn’t expect to gain so much attention from me and me to kind of fall for — It’s a really pleasant surprise.”
Moore has been busy building her new home, and it sounds like she could be aiming to have her home done by the time she gets pregnant. One can imagine she wants to have her baby next year, when her home is complete and Moore Manor is something she’s very proud of.
