The producer asked her what her plan is for her marriage after what has gone on. Before this, Anna had shared that Josh is away getting treatment at what she called a “Christian recovery program.” Anna said that Josh is in a spot where he needs a lot of help and realized that so that is why he is there.

Anna went on to explain that she doesn’t have plans to leave Josh. As she was trying to explain it all, she broke down in tears. Anna Duggar shared that she started out emotionally crying a lot, but then she realized she had to get up and move on with life. After that, Anna says that she cried some more. Anna revealed that she knows that some people think she has a right to walk away from this marriage, but that is not what is going to happen.

Josh and Anna Duggar are both Christians, and Anna takes this very serious. She shared that she vowed to God and Joshua that she would be with him till death do them part. Anna said that she wants to be an “extension of God’s love to Joshua.” With tears in her eyes, Anna shared that she wants to love Joshua and forgive him. Anna is waiting on him and wants their marriage to be restored. It is very obvious that Anna Duggar doesn’t have plans to leave Josh Duggar even though he cheated on her.

Now Anna Duggar admits that she wants everyone in their family to turn their hearts to God and that they will all come out of this stronger. It has been a very hard time for the Duggar family, but it does sound like Josh will still have a wife and four children to come home to when he is ready to leave rehab and get on with his life.

As Christian Today shared, Anna Duggar feels like Josh actually betrayed Christians and not just her. This couple was looked at as an amazing couple, but it turns out there were some things going on that even Anna didn’t know about and Josh had been unfaithful to her. Here is part of what Anna had to say on the show.

“It was definitely a hard thing. I think it is such a betrayal for a spouse to go through what we’re walking through… It was hard to realize that it was such a public thing, and so, not only was it a betrayal against me, but it was also a betrayal for those who call themselves Christian.”

Anna Duggar then went on to share more about her thoughts about what Josh Duggar did to her by cheating on her with women that he met on the website Ashley Madison.

“So, from my heart, it was just like, how could this happen in our marriage? Josh was my first love, my one and only, but I knew that my only hope was to cling to my faith, because I knew if I went off of what I was feeling, I would turn a mess into a disaster. In the stun and shock of everything, I was just praying to God to help me respond to this.”
