Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Head Off On Holiday Trip, And Gwen’s New Man Is In The Driver’s Seat This Time

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are getting away from L.A. on a pre-holiday sweet escape. The “Cool” singer and her cowboy recently hopped on a private plane, but there’s some doubt about where the No Doubt front-woman and the country crooner are jetting off to. Gwen and Blake may be headed to Oklahoma to spend some time with Blake’s family before the Christmas holidays, but there’s also a chance that the lovebirds are going to enjoy a little romance by spending a few days together in some exotic locale.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were spotted boarding a private plane on December 19, and the Daily Mail is speculating that Gwen and Blake were leaving on a “romantic pre-holiday getaway.” This presumably means that they’re spending time together now because they’re going to be celebrating Christmas separately. Blake may spend the holiday in Oklahoma with his family, while Gwen may actually end up spending at least part of Christmas Day with her ex, rocker Gavin Rossdale. A source told E! News that the soon-to-be-divorced singers are reuniting on Christmas for the sake of their three sons, 22-month-old Apollo, 7-year-old Zuma, and 9-year-old Kingston.

“Gwen may do a more traditional holiday with Gavin when their kids open up the presents, but it’s clear to her children they are not with each other in any romantic capacity,” the source revealed.

The boys will presumably be staying with their father while Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton enjoy their holiday trip. If they do, it’s possible that the kids will end up spending time around the woman who Gavin allegedly cheated on Gwen with, nanny Mindy Mann. According to the Daily Mail, Gavin and Mindy possibly still have something going on. On December 8, Gavin’s Range Rover was spotted in front of the daycare center that Mindy Mann runs. Radar Online reports that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale gave their sons’ nanny a loan to start the business.

Another report about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s holiday plane ride suggests that their destination isn’t some swanky resort where they’ll spend most of their time alone together. According to Hollywood Life, the couple might be headed to Blake’s ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Gwen Stefani was spotted shopping at a western wear store recently, so perhaps she was trying to find some clothing that would help her blend in with the locals. A source has also said that Blake Shelton thinks that some time out in the country would do Gwen’s city boy sons some good.

“Blake loves spending time on his ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma and he wants Gwen and the kids to have a peaceful time with him there over the holidays,” the source revealed.

“He feels that Kingston and Zuma would really benefit from being away from city life in Los Angeles and would love the great outdoors. They could learn how to be cowboys, and Blake could teach them lots of other stuff that city folk don’t know.”

There’s just one teensy problem with this rumor – Gwen Stefani’s sons weren’t with her when she and Blake Shelton boarded the private plane. However, Hollywood Life speculates that the boys might fly to Oklahoma a little later, possibly with their new nanny. Gwen and Blake have already met each other’s parents, so it wouldn’t be that shocking if they were headed to Oklahoma to spend some time with Blake’s folks.

Wherever they were headed to, Blake and Gwen looked happy to be going there. They were photographed driving to the airport together, and Blake Shelton was actually behind the wheel for once. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been photographed getting flirty in cars numerous times, but Gwen is usually in the driver’s seat. In fact, Us Weekly joked that the “Used To Love You” singer has become Blake’s chauffeur. Perhaps Blake wanted to show the paparazzi that he’s perfectly capable of driving, too.

During their trip to the airport, Blake was photographed grinning at the cameras that seem to follow him everywhere these days, and an also-smiling Gwen looked gorgeous rocking her signature scarlet lips.
