Kim Kardashian Donates 1,000 Pairs Of Shoes After Watching A Documentary While Breastfeeding

Kim Kardashian has found a philanthropist within herself, partly thanks to late nights spent with baby Saint West, according to Vanity Fair.

Kim Kardashian announced plans to donate 1,000 pairs of shoes to a charity called “Soles for Souls,” which has helped those in need during Hurricane Katrina. As said by Kim herself, she came up with the idea after watching a television special called Dish Nation about donating money to charities while breastfeeding newborn Saint. Kim Kardashian revealed via Twitter that she was watching Dish Nation.

“I’m up breastfeeding & watching this show Dish Nation. I heard the cutest story of a girl who is trying to find 1000 pairs of shoes to donate to this charity Soles For Souls! They helped her during Hurricane Katrina.”

The reality star also said that her husband Kanye West could help her, writing, “I think I know the designer of Shoe of the Year Award!”

The girl in the story Kim Kardashian is referring to is Kansas teen Amelia Flores who is cooperating with organization “Soles4Souls” with an aim to collect 2,000. The organization helped Flores’ big family during Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and now the girl wants to return the favor.

During the broadcast, Amelia had gathered almost 1,000 pairs of shoes, while the organization announced that viewers can help the cause and collect the additional 1,000 pairs of shoes by December 18, according to People.

Kim Kardashian wrote via Twitter that she had tried to get in touch with Flores, but her attempts were not successful.

“So whoever you are….these shoes are for you! We will contact Soles For Souls! You reached your goal, so proud of you!!! xoxox.”

In other Kardashian news, Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard have released a hilarious spoof of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West having a holiday party at their house, according to Us Magazine.

During the Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays special, the pair filled the spoof with selfies, big behinds (referencing to Kim Kardashian, of course) and a live baby Yeezus. During the special, which was broadcasted on Fox and lasted one hour, Terrence wore a black hooded cape to become Kanye West, who appeared on a reality TV holiday party with Henson, who played Kim Kardashian and was dressed in a skintight skirt with stripes.

The fake Kanye West said that they are having the second best Christmas party after the actual birth of Christ.

“We ain’t got baby Jesus, but we’ve got the best next thing: me!”

But then the fake Kim Kardashian argued with her fake husband that he is putting his name first in the Christmas party billing, saying that she has more followers than him and that this is her house. But Kanye was quick to respond, saying that her house is in “Kanye’s universe.”

Kim Kardashian and West welcomed their son Saint West into the world on December 7, 2015 and since then, the couple has been receiving all kinds of gifts. But there is one present that stands out from the crowd.

On her own website, Kim Kardashian took the time to describe a special gift that she had received from her friend Jaime King.

Kim Kardashian took pictures of the gift received from King – a “personal” Simone LeBlanc gift. The reality star titled the post “A Gift For Saint!” and wrote that it’s the “BEST baby gift.”

“My friend Jaime King sent me the BEST baby gift!!! I had to share it with you guys because I just love it.”
