One Direction Top-Earning Entertainers Under 30, How Much Did They REALLY Earn?

One Direction have been named the highest-paid celebrities under 30 by Forbes.

According to the money site, the U.K, boy band, made up of Harry Style, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, pulled in a staggering $130 million between June 2014 and June 2015, meaning the One Direction boys are pocketing a huge $32.5 million each this year.

Forbes is reporting that The X Factor boy band made some serious bank from their 74 tour dates that took place within the eligibility period, which saw One Direction perform shows in Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. The boy band also pulled in millions from merchandise sales, as well as lucrative endorsement deals with big name brands like Pepsi and Colgate.

It’s not just the boys of One Direction who have pulled in some serious cash this year. Taylor Swift, who dated and sensationally broke up with One Direction’s Harry in 2013, came in at number two on Forbes‘ list after pulling in a very respectable $80 million, whilst Lady Gaga took home the bronze and reportedly earned $59 million.

Fortunately for the lads of One Direction, the “Drag Me Down” singers should be able to afford a pretty lavish Christmas this year with their recent mammoth-sized paycheck, which it sounds like will make a pretty stark contrast from the holidays the boys had before they hit the big time.

During a recent appearance on the U.K. charity television special, Text Santa, the One Direction band members revealed that they’ve had some pretty humble Christmas presents in the past, which resulted in some not too great gift-giving.

“Everyone has that story about that present they wanted but didn’t get,” One Direction member Niall Horan revealed on the ITV show, where his fellow band member Louis Tomlinson recalled asking for flip-phone for Christmas, but instead received “a brick” cell phone. Harry Styles also retold the story of when he asked for Batman pajamas one festive season, but instead unwrapped Spider-Man pajamas on Christmas morning.

The news of One Direction’s huge multi-million dollar payday comes shortly after the boys made one of their final public appearances as a foursome before taking a much deserved break, where Styles denied rumors that he’s planning on using One Direction’s hiatus to carve out a solo career.

The handsome singer was quizzed about the possibility of a solo music career during a recent appearance on the British late night talk show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, where Harry revealed that ditching the One Direction boys and hitting the road alone isn’t in his future plans.

“Yeah it’s bull****,” Harry told host Alan Carr of the solo rumors earlier this month, “we all write kind of separately and for other people and do stuff and bring it back, and that is it really,” he said.

In the same interview, the One Direction lads revealed that their planned hiatus won’t be take them away from the music scene for too long, as Louis comforted fans by revealing that the foursome’s break will probably end after around “18 months.”

Shortly after the interview aired, the boys took to Twitter to take the time to thank their fans for their years of support.

“Off to the job centre… Hope it all works out,” Liam joked on the social media site, following up his initial tweet by adding, “Just kidding… Honestly thank you so much to everyone look at all the amazing things we have done together like wtf man.”

Payne’s fellow One Direction member Louis Tomlinson also posted a sweet message on the site, telling his more than 20 million followers that what One Direction and their fans “have all done together really is incredible” and adding, “You guys have made us what we are today! We’ll be back soon enough!”

Will you be counting down the days until One Direction’s return?
