‘Soccer Mom Madam’ Anna Gristina Released On Bail

The woman known as “Soccer Mom Madam” has been released on bond from her Rikers Island prison cell only 4 months after arriving on charges of running a $15 million prostitution ring, according to CBS.

42 year-old Anna Gristina was being held at Rikers Island after she was arrested by authorities for running a $15 million elite escort service that supposedly serviced wealthy lawyers, doctors and even politicians.

Using her former attorney Peter Gleason’s New York City apartment as collateral, Gristina was able to cover the $250,000 bond required to release the Soccer Mom Madam from prison.

Once officially released, Gristina walked out from the Manhattan Criminal Court with her attorney and loved ones by her side looking defeated and distraught as she passed by the cameras, reports CBS New York.

“Thank you, everybody – I just want to be with my family tonight, please,” she said.

“We’d like to thank all the people from the city that have contacted our office today to support Anna Gristina. The nightmare of her bail ends today, and trial preparation starts tomorrow,” attorney Norman Pattis said.

The bail package that was finally approved will require Gristina to wear an electronic ankle bracelet as well as require a mandatory monthly in-person check in. The newly released mother will also be required to call in once a week to high-profile bail bondsman Ira Judelson to ensure her compliance with the bond stipulations.

“Soccer Mom Madam” Anna Gristina will reside with her family in their Monroe, NY home until she is due back in court on August 17th.

Do you think that “Soccer Mom Madam” will be found guilty of her crimes? If so, what should her sentence entail?
