For Rob Kardashian, 2015 has been a difficult year. Rob struggles with keeping up to the world’s expectations, but sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian are there for him. The only brother in the KUWTK klan, Rob is “troubled,” and still battling “personal issues.” A source told People magazine that some of those issues include low self esteem and depression, which are ongoing problems for the Kardashian brother.
“He deals with depression, weight issues and low self-esteem, but that’s been going on for a long time.”
The same source insisted that the Kardashian family “is very much there for him,” but the 28-year-old- reality star “hasn’t been seen in public” for over a year. Recently, with a new baby in the Kardashian-West family, and lots of excitement at Kris Jenner’s house in the run-up to Christmas, he’s continued to hide, creating a lot of anxiety for Kardashian fans and for his family.
Rob’s extroverted sisters and mother are concerned for him, but recognize that his path from depression to health will “have to be his own journey.” Khloe and Kourtney have been especially supportive of their struggling brother, and Rob lives with Khloe in her Calabasas mansion while he finds his way.
Earlier this week, Khloe, 31, posted a throwback photo of herself and Rob, with a heartfelt message of support for her brother. “If only you could see yourself through my eyes,” Khloe captioned the photo. “I’ll forever be obsessed with you! My one and only! #MyAce.” Daily Mail describes how Khloe looks into the camera while Rob “closes his eyes and tenderly places a kiss on the side of her face.”

Kourtney followed her sister’s lead the next day, with a photo of herself and Rob walking down the street, her hand affectionately in Rob’s. “Bobby,” she captioned the photo, which showed them both looking happy, though Rob is busy with his phone, while Kourtney smiles at the camera.

It’s been reported that Khloe and Kourtney are posting the emotional messages to social media because Rob’s depression is creating a lot of sadness for the whole family.
“Rob is still struggling and it makes the family sad.”
Fans are also taking to social media to voice their concerns. One fan says that he misses Rob, and another simply asks if the only reclusive Kardashian is okay.
Hey is Rob Kardashian okay?

Rob is reported to have gained 100 pounds over the last 18 months, while he’s been absent from the public eye, and he’s even missed family celebrations like the birth of Kim’s and Kanye’s new baby, Saint. Rob’s mother, Kris, has spoken out in the past on the state of his mental health, and assures fans that he will be “okay.” After Rob was absent from the Kardashian Thanksgiving celebration, there were a lot of questions from fans about his well-being.

The Mirror reports that in an interview with Extra, just after Thanksgiving, Kris explained more about how the Kardashian family feels about Rob.
“He’s doing all right. You know, he’s doing his best. He’s not into being on camera as much as the rest of us. But he’s working on himself. He’s going to be okay.”
In October, Khloe “opened up” about her beloved brother Rob. She’s clearly worried about him, and wants him to realize how “great” he is.
“He’s such a great guy. That’s also what’s so infuriating. He’s charming, charismatic, everything. But I’m like, where is your will to live? Where is your will to live life? Let’s be around people!”
Rob’s depression keeps him from seeing how his fans see him. One Twitter user tells Rob, “I love you and want to comfort you and hold you,” and asks him to stop being sad.
@robkardashian I love you and want to comfort you and hold you pls stop being sad

Even people who aren’t big Kardashian fans still have a “soft spot” for Rob,
I’ve grown out of my love for the Kardashian family over the years, but I have such a soft spot in my heart for Rob.
