Lila Moss, Future Model? Kate Moss’ Daughter Could Be Following Mom’s Footsteps

Is Lila Moss a model in the making, just like her mother, supermodel Kate?

We wouldn’t rule out the 9-year-old following Kate down the catwalk, if a recent anecdote from Lila’s god-sister is to be believed. Iris Law (the 11-year-old daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, one of Kate’s best buddies) told aMUSE magazine:

“My god-sister, Lila, and I have got into the habit of creating little photo shoots every time we see each other. I enjoy this, because it’s everything I love in one go: it’s creative, it makes you think … it’s fashion.”

Lila, whose dad is Dazed Confused magazine co-founder Jefferson Hack, has already made her modeling debut when she posed for US Vogue last year.

The nine-year-old was snapped alongside mom in a moody black and white image after Kate had married Kills guitarist Jamie Hince.

She even suffered an indignity a few other top-flight models are familiar with – the curse of Photoshop! In the final picture published by Vogue, some overly zealous airbrushing saw several of Lila’s fingers ‘chopped off’.

Since temporarily paralyzing her arm in February, Lila’s 38-year-old mother Kate has had a rum 2012 – she was snapped for Harper’s Bazaar Australia’s August 2012 issue, posing on a beach in an eye-catching sheer black dress.

Moss shares a $15 million mansion in Highgate, north London with Lila and husband Jamie, and is accredited with popularizing the ‘heroin chic’ look in the early-90?s.
