Miley Cyrus Continues Odd Behavior, Swears She’s Not On LSD

Not a day goes by when fans don’t get to see strange photos of Miley Cyrus on Instagram or in photo shoots. Luckily for them, she has been featured in two new bizarre photo shoots.

Miley Cyrus is posing naked again, this time for the Winter 2016 issue of Plastik magazine. The indie magazine rolled out four covers on Wednesday, Dec. 16, with one featuring Cyrus wrapped up in plastic wrap with the headline “Miley goes Plastik.” The singer also rocked some major neon blue eyeliner and rainbow nails.

In another photo, Cyrus wears pasties and an eye patch made out of fake cookies topped with fake sprinkles, raspberries, and hot fudge.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer took to her zany Instagram page to share one of the NSFW photos with her fans. She captioned the first photo, “Devil without a cause I’m going plastik!!!!!” She then captioned the second photo, “party pix from #thewomb”

Miley Cyrus also stripped down for Paper’s Fandemonium issue, taken by her friend Vijat Mohindra. She already graced the cover of the infamous magazine earlier this year, which featured her naked and hugging her new pet pig. This time around, she looks like a half-naked garden fairy in her new Paper magazine photo shoot. Miley’s seen wearing a pink terry cloth towel, pink glittery body paint, and a pink sequin shower cap. She’s also seen eating a slice of pizza on the ground as she mingles with a lawn gnome and a mushroom.

She posted the bizarre photo to her Instagram page, along with the caption, “mini moment in @papermagazine wifff mini mushroom fairy garden! pic b @vijatm.”

In her recent interview with contributor Michael Tedder, Cyrus claims that she was completely sober during the photo shoot. She also revealed that contrary to popular belief, she has never taken psychedelics. That’s kind of hard to believe since Cyrus has been touring with The Flaming Lips on her Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz tour. She’s also best friends with the band’s front man Wayne Coyne.

“I was so sober, I painted myself pink to enjoy a slice in my fairy garden. I’ve never tried any psychedelics, but I’m not against it. LOL.”

Miley also revealed what’s really going on in that strange photo. “The very small people you see in the bottom right frame are actually just shrunken reflections of my inner self.” She’s just Miley, being Miley.

It could be that Cyrus is just being sarcastic in the interview, but it looks like she needs a lesson on drugs. Back in September 2013, the pop star revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that her drugs of choice are weed and MDMA, the active ingredient in ecstasy pills, known as “Molly.” In fact, it’s one of the most common psychedelic drugs found at night clubs and raves, according to Psychedelics.com.

“I think weed is the best drug on earth. One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon. Hollywood is a coke town, but weed is so much better. And molly, too. Those are happy drugs – social drugs. They make you want to be with friends. You’re out in the open. You’re not in a bathroom. I really don’t like coke. It’s so gross and so dark.”

Although not a popular psychedelic, salvia divinorum is a plant that can be smoked or eaten to create a trippy experience. The drug is still legal in most states, including California. Cyrus was caught smoking a bong filled with salvia at a party. The footage, which was released by TMZ, immediately went viral long before there was such a thing as social media. In 2011, Cyrus revealed to Marie Claire that she was not proud of her psychedelic moment.

“I’m not perfect. I made a mistake… I’m disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans.”

But the singer is a different person these days. Not only is she loud and proud about smoking weed, but she’s also willing to do it in selfies and in her performances.

Interestingly enough, THC, the chemical found in marijuana, is also known as a psychedelic drug. This drug can produce varying effects among users, including hallucinations and anxiety.

But it could be that Miley Cyrus was just joking in her interview with Paper magazine. What are your thoughts? Sound off below in the comments section.
