Barbara Walters Finds Bradley Cooper ‘Very Screwable’

Barbara Walters may be 86-years-old but that isn’t stopping her from having a playful or even raunchy sense of humor. American Sniper star Bradley Cooper recently had the privilege of being chosen as one of the “10 Most Fascinating People of 2015,” so a proper interview with Walters was only necessary. Though during their talk, Walters ended up admitting that Cooper was just so handsome that she could just sit and be distracted by staring at him for the entire duration of the interview.

“I could just sit and stare at you but that would take too much time,” she tells him, as reported by People. “But, I find you very screwable.”

Bradley found a perfect response to the playful flirtation and actually gave a thoughtful, intelligent summation of how he views his physical appearance.

“Thank you,” he replied. “I think that I’ve grown to stop thinking about it…But sometimes I feel better than others. Yeah, I think it has a lot to do with feeling comfortable with yourself. And I know that I’m more comfortable with myself than I’ve ever been in my life,” he told Barbara. “So maybe that makes me more attractive.” No one can disagree that a healthy dose of confidence can go a long way, and he certainly was not chosen as the Sexiest Man Alive in 2011 for nothing.

But even if the small flirtation was serious, Barbara Walters will have some stiff competition. The Oscar-nominated actor has not been shy about PDA with his supermodel girlfriend, Irina Shayk, since they were first spotted together on a date earlier this spring. The beautiful couple most recently attended the premiere of his movie Burnt together, both accompanied by their mothers.

Of course, Cooper isn’t the only celeb Barbara Walters gets to chat with. The star of Trainwreck, Amy Schumer, is never one to be candid, and she displayed her usual style of brutally honest comedy and went into detail about faking an orgasm when the topic was brought up by Walters. But when the question was thrown back her way, Walters declined to give an answer, according to PageSix.

“Because I have this image of myself as being dignified and so on,” Schumer fired back with a quip, “I think I’m dignified, I just did a press conference on gun control,” to which Walters humorously replied, “I have to tell you that doing an interview with you is not exactly like interviewing Henry Kissinger.”

Even comedian Tracy Morgan made it onto the “Most Fascinating People” list and had a one-on-one with Barbara Walters. Other names who made the list included U.S. Senator and Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders; Misty Copeland, the country’s very first African-American female principal dancer associated with the American Ballet Theatre; UFC Bantamweight Ronda Rousey; and designer Donna Karan. But outside of the entertainment, perhaps the more relevant conversation took place with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who still holds firm on his controversial desire to ban Muslims.

“We have to do the right thing. Somebody in this country has to say what’s right. I have great respect and love, I have people that I have tremendous relationships with, they’re Muslim. And Barbara, they agree with me 100%. It’s short-term. Let our country get its act together. They knocked down the World Trade Center, they tried doing it twice. Other things have happened. They have a lot of — there are people that have tremendously bad intentions. We have to be tough, we have to smart and we have to be vigilant.”

Barbara Walters’ “10 Most Fascinating People of 2015” special will air on Thursday, December 17, on ABC.
