Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Hit Relationship High Note After Engagement, Wedding Rumors: ‘There’s No Pressure’

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s romance was in full bloom during the latest season of The Voice, but now that the show’s ended, will their relationship continue? It sure looks that way. On December 15, after filming the finale episode of season 9, Gwen Stefani and her boyfriend were spotted at the finale party in Los Angeles, where Us Weekly claimed the pair was “inseparable.”

Earlier this season, an insider told Us Weekly that Gwen Stefani and Shelton “often drive to The Voice set together. Even when her call time is much later than his, she still rolls in with him. They’ve become increasingly more flirty and will engage in PDA — they even kiss on set.”

After announcing their romance in November, when the two stepped out in Nashville holding hands, Gwen Stefani and Shelton made their romance clear on the show, and were also seen getting cozy throughout Los Angeles.

Due to Gwen Stefani and Shelton’s past divorces, their romance has been highly talked about in the press, but still, claimed one source, they don’t feel any pressure in their relationship.

“There’s no pressure,” a source close to the couple told People Magazine on December 16. “They’ve been able to support and relate to each other and have gotten through a very difficult and now triumphant time in their lives.”

“Blake and [Gwen Stefani] are going through similar situations,” a Shelton insider told People Magazine early last month, ahead of their relationship confirmation. “They have spent time together and have drawn support from each other.”

In July, Shelton and his former wife, Miranda Lambert, announced they were separating after four years of marriage, and in August, Gwen Stefani and her now-ex-husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, revealed they, too, were calling it quits on their marriage.

In the December 28 issue of In Touch Weekly, via Hollywood Life, a source claimed Gwen Stefani and Shelton, who are rumored to be engaged, were planning to elope “once [Gwen Stefani’s] divorce is finalized in the New Year.”

“[Gwen Stefani] has some very strong feeling for Blake,” a source told the magazine, and he has “assured her” that he has “true feelings for her,” too.

In addition to her highly publicized romance with Shelton, Gwen Stefani has also been involved in quite the media storm surrounding her former marriage to Rossdale. Months after their divorce was announced, an Us Weekly report claimed Rossdale cheated on Gwen Stefani with the couple’s former nanny, Mindy Mann. Although none of the involved parties have confirmed the affair, the magazine source claimed it lasted a whopping three years.

According to the report, Gwen Stefani was made privy to her husband’s alleged infidelities in February by other members of her staff. At the time, Gwen Stefani reportedly came across messages sent between Rossdale and Mann, which discussed plans to meet for sex. Once confronted about the affair, Rossdale allegedly denied that his conversations with Mann were anything more than flirtation, and Gwen Stefani remained committed to the marriage for the next several months until Rossdale ultimately chose to come clean.

The admission “completely devastated her,” a source told Us Weekly. “She was mortified, livid, and embarrassed. This was done right under [Gwen Stefani]’s nose.”

While Shelton will be returning to The Voice Season 11, which is expected to air sometime next year, Gwen Stefani will not be back. Instead, Christina Aguilera will return to the show in her place.
